Cottage in Corner Brook

Trails End Cottage is right on the Newfoundland T'Railway which connects Curling and Corner Brook by trail. We welcome couples exploring Corner Brook, business travellers, and families. Relax with a cup of coffee while enjoying a panoramic view from the Bay of Islands to Humbermouth. Full laundry facilities and a full kitchen make this location ideal for your weekend getaway or an extended business trip. Conveniently connected to kms of interconnecting trails within the Corner Brook area. The space It is a small cottage but the main living area is very open and light with a view of the ocean from almost any angle. Outdoors there is patio seating for four that will be there for seasonal months. There is also access to a BBQ on the front deck. Guest access The house is a small standalone two bedroom. It has a balcony with a beautiful view of the bay with a fire pit that you have access to. The driveway is shared with the house next door but there is room for two vehicles next to the stairs to your entrance. Please be aware that there are stairs to access the house from the parking space. If mobility is an issue, please reach out. We do not include daily snow clearing of the stairway/balcony to the house but help out whenever possible and we provide shovels and salt at your convenience. Please use as you deem necessary to safely access the house. We provide snow clearing for the driveway only. Please keep in mind that if it is a heavy snow day, the vehicle should be moved at some point to allow proper snow clearing to occur. ***Keep in mind that Corner Brook can accumulate a lot of snow in the winter months. We are not responsible for any damages to person or property resulting from weather conditions while on the property.*** Other things to note Our coffee machine is a tassimo. There are often discs left in the drawer underneath it. All major grocery stores carry them. There is parking for two vehicles near the house. The driveway is a little steep but I have no issue getting up the driveway in my little matrix (AWD) in all seasons. Some people may be more comfortable parking at the bottom and walking the driveway. Snow clearing is not included but it will be done from time to time during longer stays. If it becomes unmanageable in the winter, the bottom will be cleared for parking and a pathway to the house will be salted and sanded for your arrival. There are scoops and shovels available for your use throughout your stay.
