Lovely Tiny Luxury Studio Apartment
Description
Welcome to 33 McMillian Gardens. Set in a leafy street in this mid-century urban oasis, the property is like a step back in time where you get to enjoy a vintage free-form pool in classic surrounds. But then inside 33 McMillan… the mid-century charm is reinvented with 21st century luxe, and WOW, you’re in for a beautiful comfortable luxurious stay with every modern amenity, and an assortment of indulgent secrets. The space 33 McMillan Gardens connects the old school groove of the building with Palm Springs chic. Welcomed by a decked verandah with a lovely 2-seater café table to enjoy some fresh air and catch the northern sun, you’ll step inside and feel like you’ve hit the jackpot. This beautifully renovated studio apartment has every considered detail to ensure your stay is memorable. What’s not immediately visible is that the apartment is soundproofed to reduce noise from neighboring units as much as possible, though, of course, ambient noise can't be entirely eliminated. What you can see is the meticulous attention to detail and the pride in creating a stay that’s not just comfortable, but unexpectedly delightful. Using the warmth of timber-look floors, brushed brass fixtures, textured soft furnishings, gorgeous Palm Springs designed wallpaper, the interior design of this boutique apartment comes together perfectly. The Kitchen: flawless in its execution for the space, this glamorous kitchen has soft close cabinetry, a Kleenmaid 2 burner induction cooktop, Siemens oven/microwave/grill, brushed brass tapware, stone benchtops and splashback, an Artusi fridge and Fisher & Paykel dish drawer. You’ll find a complementary snack box with an assortment of snacks – sweet, savoury, drinks, breakfast options and late night treats, plus there’s some complementary milk and cold water in the fridge. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee pod machine, hand blender for your smoothies, timber chopping boards, baking trays, a toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, olive oil, spices and salt and pepper. The crockery is free-form and the glassware is rose pink, to add to the mid-century vibes of the stay. Under the sink, it’s stocked with all your cleaning necessities including a first-aid kit. The two-seater dining table with its plush Art Deco style chairs doubles as a study/workspace with its access to power and USB points, enabling you to work remotely in comfort in between your day’s out exploring. The amazing Samsung frame TV on the wall sets the mood with its ambient mode, so you can have backlit artwork and subtle sounds of rustling leaves, etc. and is equipped for you to log into your streaming services. There’s a relaxing armchair in the corner under the stunning indigenous artwork of artist Aléjandro Lauren, (often seen at the Canberra Handmade Market). The Bed: This is luxury like no other. Fully automated so you can sit up, lie down or raise your legs, this queen size bed is super comfortable giving you the best, most restful sleep. A Zero Gravity bed, filled with a throw blanket, retro pillows and endless comfort. There are side lamps with phone holders/USB ports and it’s nestled between 2 cupboards – one for the cleaning/ironing needs, one for your clothes storage. There is room for your luggage to fit under the bed. Find the Secret Bathroom: We will leave that there… but you’ll love that it is sumptuous and divine, and has a walk in shower. The front door has a double glazed panel with slim line blinds inside that are adjustable, and there is a door to the common hallway with additional fire extinguisher if needed. Guest access You have full access to all things within the apartment. Access to your apartment offers flexibility with two options: 1. Front Door Access: This direct entry takes you straight from the carpark to your apartment, providing convenience for those coming by vehicle. No additional passcode is needed for this entrance. 2. Back Door Access: Alternatively, you can use the back door, which opens into the complex hallway. To enter from the exterior through this door, you'll require a passcode, which will be provided to you. This option may be more suitable for pedestrians or those looking for a different route. Having both entry choices allows you to tailor your access based on your preferences and needs during your stay. Other things to note Our tiny apartment is in a large community of apartments. It’s only suitable for 1-2 guests, as it is small, but feature-packed, and is a lovely adult-only stay. Park your car in front of the apartment to bring your belongings into the apartment and then move to a visitor designated car space for your stay, as the parking space is reserved to another apartment. What do you say? Why wait? Reserve your stay at our cozy apartment and immerse yourself in the vibrant events Canberra has to offer!
