A mid century modern gem in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont! Enjoy your own private beach on Lake Willoughby, kayaks and canoe, a generous deck for outdoor meals (gas grill), outdoor shower, and spacious interior with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Parking for 4 cars, fully equipped kitchen and ample indoor/outdoor eating. On one of the most beautiful Lakes in New England, minutes from hiking, rock climbing and some of the best trails in VT! Also, fully set up with internet for WFH! The space The house is very spacious, set up with the main room in half of the house and the bedrooms in the other. It's a perfect spot for kids who may go to bed early while parents enjoy visiting in the evenings. There's a desk in one bedroom as well as a large kitchen table from which to work, along with the internet you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with ample dishes for expansive meals. There's a microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and everything you need to make a great meal. We have a freshly drilled well for great drinking water. A washer/dryer in the basement will allow you to keep packing light. With two full bathrooms, you won't be tripping over each other to be sure. The deck was recently rebuilt with your very own outdoor shower - enjoy views of the sky as you rinse off after a day playing in the lake. In addition to the deck and grill, the fire pit is perfect for cooler evenings and s'mores! Whether swimming and boating all day (we have a canoe, 2 kayaks and life jackets) in the summer, enjoying beautiful view of Lake Willoughby in the fall, skiing the days away in the winter (Jay Peak is 45 minutes away or Burke Mountain in 20 minutes which is well set up for mountain biking as well!) or enjoying spring fun with bright green as far as you can see, this is the perfect spot. Guest access Parking is right in front of the house and while you'll need a car to get around, should you enjoy a walk or short bike ride, the general store is about 1.5 miles away. Other things to note During the summer season (May through September), we typically only do weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday. We do not provide linens in the summer, except in special cases, due to challenges with weekly turnover of guests.
