Gite: happiness is in the meadow

Old sheepfold restored with taste, accommodates up to 8 people, in 3 bedrooms (2 parental and 1 dormitory). You can access our heated swimming pool from MAY to SEPTEMBER which is in front of OUR house from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cottage is located in the countryside, in the heart of the regional park of Gâtine and 20 minutes from the Marais Poitevin. You can enjoy the calm and the proximity of tourist places: La Rochelle, beaches of Vendée, Futuroscope and Puy du Fou. The space The cottage was restored from 2022 to 2023 by local craftsmen and with quality materials. It offers you all the comfort of a new home. It is on one level and has been designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. It consists : - a living room including dining room, living room with TV - a new kitchen, fully equipped and open to the living room life . - two master bedrooms with new mattresses 160 * 200 (EMMA) and wardrobes - a dormitory with 2 bunk beds 90 * 190 (sleeps 4) and wardrobe - a large bathroom with sink, toilet and walk-in shower - a separate toilet Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, sofa and plancha. Guest access Our tenants will have access to the entire accommodation. The cottage is on our property but independent of our house The northern part of our land of 4000 m2 is allocated to tenants. Our swimming pool which is in front of our house will be reserved for our tenants, we will not share it with them during the times indicated (prohibition of diving and children under compulsory parental supervision). The proposed schedules can be modified (to be seen together at the beginning of the stay) We provide bed linen (sheets, pillowcases and duvets), bathroom linen and a cleaning kit available free of charge. For your comfort, the beds will be made upon your arrival. Parking is in front of the cottage Other things to note We have two hives on our land, but they are far from the gîte. Out of hot season, we charge a supplement for heating (electricity rate in force beyond 20 KW per day)
