Kidbrook Cabin, central Cheshire Retreat

In the heart of Cheshire, Kidbrook Cabin is the perfect peaceful retreat with easy access to historic Chester, thriving Manchester, stunning National Trust gardens and three pubs within a short walk. The cabin boasts a generously sized master bedroom featuring a king sized sleigh bed, with the second room furnished with wooden bunk beds. With substantial garden space to the rear of the property, we welcome guests to enjoy this rural retreat with a BBQ on the patio. The space We welcome you to our fabulous Kidbrook Cabin. This established hideaway boasts a generously sized master bedroom with deluxe king size sleigh bed, premium bedding and a view across the gardens. There is ample storage space and a dressing table. The central lobby area includes a space for preparing food for the bbq or a simple picnic, with tea, coffee and kettle plus under unit mini fridge. Utensils are provided including BBQ tools. The bathroom features a large aquatic themed shower. Plenty of storage is available, with a hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, body wash and hand washing facilities. The second bedroom offers a beautiful white bunk bed set with traditional patchwork quilted bedding, our treasured Singer sewing machine and further wardrobe space (which also houses a croquet set, boules and should you require it- a travel cot). Perhaps it's most delightful feature is the beautiful outside space offering shelter from the road as a perfect sun trap for BBQing or lighting a fire pit whilst snuggled in our complimentary blankets. The gardens are well established with room for outdoor activities including badminton (provided) and other ball games. We recommend the following adventures and places of interest during your stay: -A short walk into beautiful Marbury Park (you can also grab teas, coffees, a mid morning snack or even a bacon roll at weekends) which has a brand new play park for children -The Village Post Office offering basic food stuffs including freshly cut ham and daily pies -Spinner & Bergamot destination pub with extensive outdoor beer gardens -Raw Milk from the local farm which also makes delicious milkshakes! Within a 2.5 mile radius and all walkable: -Great Budworth Ice Cream Farm and Play Area -Great Budworth Tennis Club -Comberbach Village Hall play area -Anderton Boat Lift & Museum -Lion Salt Works -Pickmere Lake -Alpaca Walks in the neighbouring village of Antrobus -Pony Days at Cheshire Riding School -Excellent pub fayre at the Antrobus Arms, George & Dragon, Cock@ Budworth Within 4 miles: -Walking or driving, you can access the market town of Northwich offering Barons Quay Odeon cinema and regular monthly artisan markets (there are also the bigger supermarkets here should you need to stock up) -Award winning Hollies Farm Shop offering everything you need for the perfect BBQ and glass of rose -Arley Hall & Gardens -Antrobus Golf Course Within 10 miles: -Tatton Park featuring the annual RHS Tatton Flower Show and regular open air performances during the summer months -Historic town of Knutsford- well worth a visit for an afternoon lunch and walk around independent shops -High Legh Driving Range Only 25 minute drive you also have the opportunity to enjoy even the rainy days with a shopping day at Ellesmere Port Outlet Village, the Blue Planet Aquarium and Chester Zoo (even more animals to see!) Guest access You are welcomed in through the main secure gated entrance to park your vehicle. There is ample space for two vehicles should this be required. Access is provided to your own private garden space to the rear of the cabin. Other things to note Extras are available- we do provide a starter kit of charcoal, fire lighters and the basic toiletries and toilet roll and cleaning products. We are able to offer more charcoal and logs for the fire pit for a small donation, plus 'marshmallow and smores' packs. We pride ourselves on supporting the local community trades and offer you the opportunity to purchase the local beer, gin, honey and biscuits whilst staying with us. Should you have a baby with you we are able to provide a high chair and travel cot and some toys. CCTV monitors the car park entrance and the car parking area only. Furthermore if you are a larger party we are happy to consider others camping on the lawn area during your stay, please direct message to discuss.
