“The House on the Hill”
The house on “the hill” is located in North Community at the base of “LA” mountain. When the old timers of Los Alamos are asked where do you live, they say “the hill”. The house is centrally located in Los Alamos, a walking distance to several trails and parks. Urban park is around the corner which has tennis courts, a baseball field, a volleyball court and a playground. We also have trails nearby, Perimeter trail and Mitchell trail. The house was built in 2007 and has been primarily used as a family guest house. The property offers 3 spacious bedrooms each with their own walk in closets. 2 full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Each full bathroom offers makeup mirrors, makeup towels, complimentary soap and bath towels. You’ll enjoy the morning songs of the birds and the exciting wildlife walking the streets. (Mostly friendly deer and the occasional rabbit) Remote access will be granted via a security code, in order to enter and leave the property. The hosts will provide you with your code the day of your stay. Guests have full access to the main building including; front parking and seating area, main living space, dinning room, fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, bedrooms and bathrooms. The garage attached to the backside of the house is off limits to guests, as this is still in use from time to time. Thank you for staying at our family Airbnb! Both of your hosts are available at all times to assist in making your stay memorable. We reside on the same street as the house on the hill so you can rest assured, anything that may arise will be handled in a timely fashion. Our phone numbers are provided in our welcome book located on the welcome table. Quiet Northern community neighborhood featuring a large park (Urban Park), hugging the base of the "LA" mountain. It's common to see deer galavanting down the street during the early and late hours of the day. Los Alamos has a wonderful transit network which will take you around town and to the diffrent mesa's with residential areas. We recommend bringing your own vehicle to truly enjoy all that northern New Mexico has to offer. Sights to see nearby: Bandelier national monument, the hot springs and soda damn along with many walking trails!
