The space Apartment Schareckblick is located in Böckstein, the southernmost district of Bad Gastein, a three-minute walk from the bus stop to Bad Gastein or Heilstollen and Sportgastein. Two restaurants can be reached in five to ten minutes' walk, two more and a supermarket in a maximum of 20 minutes by foot or in a few minutes by car. The Heilstollen or the Tauernschleuse to Mallnitz can also be reached in a maximum of five minutes by car (or in ten minutes by bike). Böckstein was in antiquity (Roman times) the ground site of a well-known Tauern crossing, the Korntauern. However, Böckstein has become known as a mining village. From the 18th century, gold was mined in the mountains south of Böckstein on a large scale, the Radhausberg bears its name from this time. A Montan settlement with associated museum tells of this time. The world-famous healing tunnel is also actually a relic from this era. Today Böckstein is a cozy village, mainly with single and multi-family houses and some tourism businesses. The apartment consists of a large double bedroom, a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed suitable for adults, and a kitchen-living room with a sofa bed for optionally two more people. A separate bathroom and toilet rounded out the offer. In addition, there is an approx. 8 sqm large, south-facing loggia. If you travel by car, there is free parking available on both sides of the house. Bikes can be placed in the garage next to the house. There is an outlet for charging e-bikes. Guest access Entry on the north side through their own access by the owner. The car can also be parked right at your doorstep. Other things to note In the immediate vicinity of the Schareckblick apartment - just under a three-minute walk away - is the bus stop for the drive to Bad Gastein or to the wet field or to Heilstollen. Within five to ten minutes walk you can reach the Gasthof Zur Post or the Gasthaus Radhausberg, a fifteen-minute walk away, the restaurant 'Die Hirschau' - known for steaks and specialties from the river and sea or the Schafflinger Skialm, a quaint restaurant with excellent cuisine.
