Secluded Krasa Cottage

Krasa Cottage is a wooded retreat on 5 acres of land. Easy access to wineries, a brewery, trails, Calaveras Big Trees State park, Mercer Caverns, fishing, swimming, stargazing, etc. No immediate neighboring houses except our own (150 feet away). Perfect for 2 couples or one family. Modern heating/AC unit in each room. Cozy wood-fire stove in the living room (wood is available for purchase). Two decks. Outdoor gas fire pit for enchanting evenings. Fenced-in garden area for outdoor dog freedom. The space Escape to the delightful Krasa cottage, where comfort meets character. The heart of the home is an expansive open-concept space, effortlessly combining the kitchen, dining, and living areas – ideal for lively conversations and shared meals. This charming cottage boasts two uniquely themed bedrooms: The tranquil Water Room, offering the convenience of a private attached bathroom, and the Samurai Room. A second well-appointed bathroom is available in the common area. Step outdoors and reconnect with yourself amidst the serene beauty of nature. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and belonging land Other things to note The 3 wall-mounted heaters are new and work very well; however, they may take a couple minutes for the hot air to start flowing. We have a yoga mat at the cottage. If you use it, we kindly ask you to wipe/disinfect it to make available for the next guest. Also, there is a growler from the local SnowShoe brewery. It is always nice to get fresh beer and be environmentally conscious. They will wash it for you prior to pouring beer. My favorite is Apricot Wheat :)
