The property is a 5 minute drive from various Malibu staples including Mastro's Ocean Club, Dukes, Reel Inn, Moonshadows, and Rosenthal Wine Bar and Patio. For those looking to explore, there is shopping, hiking and various beaches all within a short drive. The property is located in south Malibu close to Santa Monica, The Palisades, Topanga Canyon, and Venice Beach. We design, develop, curate, and professionally operate a portfolio of design-focused properties. The Fieldtrip experience combines the amenities and service of a luxury lifestyle hotel with the privacy and intimacy of a home. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house! Other things to note IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW - CHECK-IN PROCESS - Checking in at your FIELDTRIP home is now easier than ever. FIELDTRIP's guidebook contains everything you need to know. From reservation details, property information, check-in instructions, local recommendations and add-on services to enhance your stay, you’ll find it all here. - PARKING - Guests are limited to a maximum of 2-3 cars, depending on size. Renters and their daytime guests should park in the garage or driveway. There is NO on-street parking available. To avoid ticketing or towing, please ensure all cars are not extending into or blocking the sidewalk. - PETS - Pets are permitted with the receipt of a pet fee. The fee is $150 per pet, up to 2 pets. Please inquire about Service Animals and next steps to waive the fees. - EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT - Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour. Half days (11am arrival or 4pm departure) are also available for 50% of the nightly rate for the night needing to be blocked to accommodate. - DELIVERIES - We are unable to accept packages at the homes. Please plan accordingly and utilize holding packages at the local post office or nearby Amazon Lockers. - EVENTS - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Small events within our permitting requirements are considered. Written approval and an additional Event fee is required. - PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use (and feel free to tag us @stayfieldtrip). Drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. Please note that we charge production fees starting at $1,500 and up to $5,000 for all commercial, professional, promotional, editorial, and or revenue-generating photography and videography shot on the property. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IF YOUR SHOOT IS COMMERCIAL, PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST. Any guests found to be doing a commercial shoot will have their reservation canceled.
