Dolly's Nook, St. Ives annex 5 mins from the beach

welcome to my listing. My peaceful annex is located to the side of my home in St. Ives. Furnished to comfortably sleep 2. It is situated on the brow of a hill and a short ~5min walk away from Porthmeor beach, Tate gallery and the many fantastic shops and restaurants the town has to offer via Ayr Lane. Guest will also have rare access to the use of a parking space on request (This would cost £10 24hrs 01/04 - 31/10 in a local council carpark). The space The annex is a very light and airy comfortable for two adults. The main space is made up of an open plan kitchen and living space. Offering a fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Dining table, large sofa and smart TV offering the latest streaming services. The bedroom is fitted with a comfortable double bed as well as another smart TV. The living room has a large rooflight however. This means that the room cannot be darkened during the evenings and early mornings. The bathroom has a large walk in shower. Outside the there is a fenced off paved area offering guests private space with a table and chairs. . My property has recently undergone a large building project. With this I am still undertaking groundwork. This would not affect your stay and has not done for guests that have stayed with me. It does however mean the garden is unfortunately not perfectly manicured while I still undertake work. If you have friends or relatives staying near by they are welcome to visit you. I do however operate a strict no party policy within my annex! Guest access Parking is in a gravel driveway with entry to the property through its own private gateway and down some uneven granite steps. Check in is from 12pm and flexible with the key being secured in a key safe. The code access being sent a couple of days prior to guests checking in. Check out on the day of departure is from 11am. Other things to note - We have a young Rottweiler at the property. He is friendly but can be boisterous. If he is in the garden he will likely come and say hello. But there is a private patio area for guests where he cannot get to. When guests are staying we are as conscious as we can be while he's in the garden to try and stop him being a pest or causing issues. We do not encourage him into the annex however if doors are open he will likely let himself in. During which time he can be a thief for things such as footwear! Since COVID 19 I have implemented the following for guests and their visits. - No same day turn overs, so no guests checking out and in within a few hours of each other. - All washing will be completed on a higher than normal wash setting. Additional antibacterial wipes provided, for your peace of mind if required. The annex is in a non smoking household, however guests can smoke on the patio if required. Due to some guests who may suffer from allergies, I do not accept pets sorry. I am currently still in the process of renovating the property. The outside area may not be the prettiest but please be assured the annex is comfortable and secure. I work a varied shift pattern, which includes early starts, late finishes and night shifts. The household is generally quite and if returning from or leaving for work I respect noises levels for guests as best I can. In return I hope guest can do the same for me.
