Setters is a luxurious and spacious country home set on the outskirts of the handsome craft town of Farnham. Guests can enjoy a wonderful stay; enjoying the swimming pool and large garden, positioned off the huge open plan kitchen and living area. It is the perfect place to gather, relax and create amazing memories! The space This new build property was designed in the Arts & Craft vernacular but with all the comforts of modern living. Setters offers five double bedrooms, an attic lounge with two single beds, four bathrooms, a huge open plan kitchen and living area, stunning oak framed entranceway, hall and floating staircase, second reception room, a spacious mudroom utility and a ground floor WC. The kitchen and living area is the perfect entertaining space. Designed in a classic shaker style, the kitchen has all modern appliances available including a Nespresso machine and milk frother, microwave, dishwasher and hot water tap. The Britannia Range has two ovens and seven gas hobs and there is an extensive range of pots, pans and utensils available. There is central kitchen island with four high stools and the large oak dining table that can seat ten guests so this is a perfect space for gathering with friends and family. From the kitchen there are two sets of fully opening patio doors that lead onto the patio area that has a large garden table and chairs for alfresco entertaining. The lawned garden area is surrounded by mature screening with the pool lying directly opposite, approximately 20 meters from the house. The swimming pool is 10 x 4.5m, heated by an air source heat pump and is salt chlorinated. There is a long bench seat in the shallow end for lounging and the depth goes to 2m in the deep end. The safety cover is fully automatic and functioned by a simple key system. The pool is heated from April to October. Full instructions on use will be left with the guests. Situated directly opposite the North Downs Way, there are beautiful walks available from the doorstep and pretty villages to explore close by. The surrounding countryside is stunning; with Crooksbury Hill, Waverley Abbey Ruins, The Bourne Woods, Frensham Ponds and the pretty villages of Tilford and Frensham being a short distance away. You will be spoilt for choice with some excellent pubs and restaurants in the area, as well as all the amenities of Farnham town under ten minutes drive away. Farnham is connected to London by a main line station, with trains running twice an hour in peak times. The journey time to London Waterloo is 58 minutes on the fast service. The house is connected with British Telecom Fibre with Halo 3+ which a smart hub with added Wi-Fi discs in certain rooms to guarantee a good cover across the house. This guarantees the best in fibre broadband and wi-fi technology giving unbreakable home connection. Guest access The private entrance is gated straight off the road and there is parking for multiple cars. Other things to note - Dogs are very welcome at Setters but there is a strict ground floor living policy in place that we ask guests to respect. - Extra floor beds, cots and high chairs are available on request. - The swimming pool is salt chlorinated and has an easy to operate electric safety cover installed. The pool is heated from April to October. Cold water swimming is welcomed in the winter months. - The woods to the rear of the property are fenced but guests can access if they wish. - There are chickens kept in the woods and guests can collect fresh eggs every morning if desired. - There is a property manager who will pop in to feed and water chickens and plants and check levels of pool and be on hand to answer any questions. - A ten percent discount is offered off the second week booked at this property.
