This cozy, off-grid, A-frame cabin is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the great outdoors. Located on a private property in the woods, the cabin is surrounded by nature and offers stunning views of the creek. Essential amenities: - equipped for a comfortable glamping/camping stay - Full-size bed, Keurig, microwave - Private port-a-toilet - Deck, fire pit, wall that opens - Camping shower in warm season only, sanitary wipes to freshen up - Perfect for enjoying the outdoors The space This is a 12x10', off grid glamping cabin, on Fall Creek Retreats, right on the creek. The swing arm wall opening creates a unique outdoor living space right on the creek, making the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Come relax and rejuvenate in this peaceful and secluded setting. We've added a hot shower room and WIFI in 2025! General Information: - 22 minutes from Boone, NC and 17 minutes from Wilkesboro on a quiet rural road, seven minutes off Highway 421 - The is an upscale camping/glamping, off grid experience which is 30 minutes from Appalachian Ski Resort - WIFI for your calling/communications (35 MB, free) - Private port-a-toilet at your deck - Hot Shower room (shared) - There is no running water so we supply you some bottled water and you would bring additional water - We also have sanitary wipes to freshen up year around - Lighting: we supply a battery system for indoor and outdoor lighting & phone charging - Generator supplies electricity for microwave, Keurig & battery charging - Outdoor propane griddle supplied for cooking. It cooks most anything - We supply a large cooler for your food, you bring the ice - For air circulation, you have a screen window, screen door and a 8x8 foot wall that opens toward the creek - Easy access to A-frame along flat, 200' trail from parking lot - We supply most everything you need and a list of items you need to bring. Amenities: - Comfortable double bed with linens - Lighting: LED outdoor string lighting over deck, light in bathroom, motion light over front door and 2 indoor lights - 6×12 deck with for incredible views of creek - Keurig Coffee maker - Propane heater (winter season) - Folding, reclining deck chairs - Fire Pit with two chairs - Mosquito net/curtain for movable wall - We have 2 active, video only, security cameras; one in the parking lot and one on the trail coming into the glamping area. - Paper plates, plastic utensils, napkins, plastic cups, coffee cups - Semi-private area, next site is over 150′ away through dense woods - Cell reception: text normally works but voice is spotty on Verizon - Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alert, first aid kit Guest access You can access the area around the A-Frame, creek, the trail leading to the A-Frame and the wading pool/fishing hole in front of the A-frame. The waterfall in the parking lot area and the common covered pavillion area (with corn hole). Other things to note We have 2 other glamping sites available to rent in the glamping area. Each is private, on the creek, separated by 150 feet of woods and a full size cabin (400 yards away upcreek).
