Nestled on a 14-acre farm just 20 minutes outside of Asheville, NC, our repurposed animal shelter turned cottage offers a one-of-a-kind lodging experience for travelers and adventurers alike. Imagine part glamping, part hostel, and part retreat rolled into one incredible stay. The cottage is outfitted with a dry kitchen for light cooking and a shared bathhouse (no plumbing in lodgings - you'll have to take a short walk to the shared bathhouse for bathroom/laundry facilities). The space Each unit is equipped with both heating and air conditioning, ensuring your comfort regardless of the season. Our rustic dry kitchen offers the essentials, including an induction stove top, tea kettle, a French press for coffee, and a small refrigerator. While it may not have running water, it provides a 5-gallon water jug to prepare coffee, tea, and simple meals during your stay. A short walk from your unit will lead you to our shared bathhouse and laundry room, where you can freshen up and take care of any laundry needs. Additionally, we have a shared barn hangout featuring ping pong and foosball, perfect for some friendly competition and entertainment. If you're in the mood for a swim, our shared pool is available for you to relax. During the winter months, the pool is open for cold plunging enthusiasts. Surrounding the farm, you'll find beautiful gardens, adding to the serene and picturesque atmosphere. Located just 20 minutes north of downtown Asheville, our farm is conveniently situated. We are only 12 minutes away from Weaverville, Mars Hill, and a short 20-minute drive to Marshall, NC. Additionally, we are in close proximity to Navitat zipline and The Big Ivy National Forest, allowing you to easily explore the surrounding natural beauty. Guest access Relax in our cozy barn and enjoy a friendly game of ping pong or foosball. Take a dip in the pool or venture out on our beautiful hiking trails with your loved ones and furry friends. Don't forget to say hello to our adorable donkey and miniature horse or unwind by picnicking next to the garden. With nearby attractions like Navitat Zipline and the Coleman Boundary/Big Ivy National Forest, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Other things to note It's important to note that our units do not have running water. However, our shared bathroom facilities are just a short walk away from your affordable stay.
