The Aloha House is located just above the University and only 1.5 miles from downtown Ashland. Nestled up a hill in the forest, you'll be transported to your own little private resort-like getaway with stunning views, architectural design that brings the outdoors in, and ample space for dining and entertaining poolside. The property consists of two separate studios (both included) connected by a unique outdoor living space with a seasonal pool, spa, outdoor shower, bar & BBQ, and more! The space The Space is a custom designed and built by the home owner. The open floor plan with the large glass sliding doors welcome the morning sun (Note: There are no curtains or blinds). There is reading material on the shelving, desk work area, walk in closet, and a fully stocked kitchen. The second studio is separate from the main house on the right side of the driveway (the main house is to the left). Guest access You have access to the main home, the second suite, and the sauna. The utility buildings and others buildings are all locked up. These are accessed from outside your living area, as such if service is needed it will not encroach on your space or privacy. Other things to note The Pool and Hot Tub (Spa) are both uncovered and open to the elements year round. The Hot Tub is heated separately by a propane heating system and available year round. It takes around 30 minutes to get the Hot Tub up to Temperature. There are timers for the Hot Tub to limit it being left on. The Hot Tub Temperature is set between 101-104 (max). The pool is solar heated with water circulating panels above the pool seating area. We can not guarantee when or what temperature the pool will be at any time. Safe to say it will be around 20 degrees cooler than the daily high during your stay. The pool heating is only on from The beginning of April to the end of September, otherwise it is winterized and off. Off season you are welcome to use the pool, but it not be heated and will be cold.
