Set in an expansive, urban forest, the Westmere Urban Resort is private, lush, and spacious yet walkable to cafes and shops. From polished oak floors, to plush sofas, to deep bathtubs and dreamy bedrooms, this home is truly an escape. The main floor is an entertainers dream with fully equiped kitchen, living, dining and wood burning fire, 1 double bedroom, 1 single or double with home office, 1 children's bedroom with bunks, bathroom & guest toilet. Airy main bedroom upstairs with large ensuite. The space The house is large, light and airy with expansive views across a heavily wooded valley and creek to the Auckland city skyline. On the main floor, entry is through a front garden, from the street, with 2 bedrooms, 1 queen ( or single) with direct access to the main bathroom, and the other large children’s room with bunks and a built in desk. The third bedroom has a single bed that can be made into a queen, and a large desk, printer and computer screen for remote working. The wifi is fast and reliable. At the rear of the main floor is the living room, dining and kitchen which are open plan with soaring ceilings and modern, neutral furnishings to make a relaxing, resort feel whilst in the city. There is a guest toilet and small laundry room too. Upstairs is the main bedroom with a large ensuite, deep bath, and beautiful views to the sea and the garden. For stays of over 1 week, the cleaner can come in during your stay, pay them $200 directly including changing bed sheets and towels. Guest access The lower level is a self contained apartment and garage not included in this booking. We may stay there on occasion. The house is well sound proofed. The large wooded and planted garden can be used by either or solely used by you if you wish. Your access is through the front door with a key.
