Luxurious 2BR/2BA townhouse has been home to business travelers, families and film people on extended-stay in Vancouver / Kitsilano since 2003. Bookings can only be made on a "next-in" basis and are generally for 3-month minimum stays. (Sorry - this is not a short-vacation or weekend-getaway rental.) Walk to Kits Beach, great shopping, dining destinations, and every amenity. Quiet, friendly, street. Well appointed. (Licensed with the City of Vancouver for rentals of 90 days or more. #24-286716) The space California-style townhouse on a quiet street in one of Vancouver's most vibrant neighbourhoods - all within walking distance to the beach. Enjoy the shops and award-winning restaurants on bustling West 4th Ave, relax at the beach or adjacent Olympic-size pool (just down the road), and access every amenity along 4th & West Broadway (markets, great schools, medical centres, yoga studios and cafes). The townhouse interior has light hardwood floors in the main living, dining, and kitchen areas. Furnishings include a mix of contemporary and antique pieces, all comfortable, and kept in excellent condition. The kitchen is very well appointed with good appliances, cooking tools, table wear, glassware and cutlery. The dining room is situated in a bright nook in the front window and will seat 6-8 comfortably. There is a large (smart) tv over the wood-burning fireplace and original artworks that create a warm and inviting place to relax. WIFI internet, telephone, and premium cable are all included. Upstairs, the bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized beds with premium quality linens. The master bedroom has a TV and on-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom can also serve as an office and is immediately adjacent to the large roof deck. There is also an additional folding, twin sleeping mat (with linens) available for younger guests. Both bathrooms have shower facilities and the master bathroom has a very large soaker-tub and heated marble flooring. There are free standing air conditioners and fans available for warmer months. The private roof-top deck is equipped with a BBQ and furnishings - perfect for hot summer days and relaxing warm evenings. Monthly lease also includes parking for one in the driveway and additional parking on the street. There is a three-month minimum lease requirement unless there is availability and you are booking last minute (within a week or two). Guest access Guests have the entire space to themselves, including the large roof deck (on the same floor as bedrooms). Other things to note When requesting a booking, please tell me about yourself, who will be staying, and the nature of your visit to Vancouver. We take great care to welcome visitors who will both enjoy and respect the property. (Sorry - this is not a short-vacation or weekend-getaway rental. We are not permitted to book for less than a month in the City of Vancouver due to our housing shortage.) As a small business (this is our only property), bookings can only be made on a "next-in" basis and are generally for 3-month minimum stays. For example, we cannot take a booking 6-months out if the space is not rented in the interim. Deposits paid for bookings (first month's rent) are generally non-refundable to protect the both of us. That said, we will make every effort to re-rent the property for any cancelled period and, where we are able to re-rent and re-coup losses, a refund (full, minus re-booking fee, or partial) may be offered based on the amount of time we are able to re-rent for. We value being fair on this front.
