House outside of Gettysburg which is a town called Littlestown. This is a historic house in the heart of Littlestown, PA. Not in the country. 10 minute drive to Gettysburg, 5 minute drive to the Mason-Dixon Line to enter Maryland and a 7 minute drive to Hanover, PA, approximately 40 minutes from Hershey Park. This house is not for everyone. Please only book after reading the entire listing. There are steep steps to go to the second floor and antique features that aren’t for everyone. The space This is a very historic house built in the early 1900s that was upgraded. This is my family’s second home. Our family lives in the area and we stay here when we visit them. The house has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, full size kitchen, porch, backyard, living room, dining room, etc. This house is a very old, historic house in the heart of Littlestown that was recently updated with brand new flooring, updated bathroom, etc. It may not be suitable for some that wouldn’t enjoy its historic charm. This is a very, very old house. Please do not book if historic homes aren’t your vibe. It has antique furnace heating for the first floor and each bedroom has its own baseboard heating. Summer months...there are air conditioners upstairs and downstairs with window units. First bedroom has a queen size updated modern bedroom set and the second bedroom has 2 twin size beds in them with dresser. The kitchen has all the amenities and appliances that you need. Full size refrigerator, full size stove with pots and pans, blender, and keurig, crock pot for home cooked meals, microwave, toaster, plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. Please disregard all bad reviews about the beds. I upgraded all the furniture in the bedrooms and took the antique furniture out. Guest access It is an extremely small quiet town and neighborhood. It is a self check in when you arrive with the key code on the front door. Code will be Provided after the cleaning lady cleans the house before you check in. Plenty of free street parking. Guest enter and leave through the front door of the house ONLY. There is NO access to the house from the back door. There is no access to the attic and a closet in the middle room. The security system with outdoor cameras will trigger the alarm if this location is accessed without permission. Please keep reading for more info. There are parts inside and outside of the house that are off limits. My family’s personal belongings are in these areas. You will not have access to the basement, the attic, the back door, the outside shed connected to the back of the house and the closet in the dining room. Please do not try to or access these areas. The only guests allowed on the property are the ones listed on the reservation. Our insurance do not cover other guests being on the property. Any reservation over 2 people is an additional charge and will be accommodated. Other things to note This is my family’s second home. It has been in my family since the 70s. This place is historic and built in the early 1900s. It is not for everyone. It has a lot of antique and outdated features to it since it has original walls before they made sheet rock. Please treat it like your own home. I own 3 Airbnb listings and I am very familiar with the rules and regulations with Airbnb. Please obey the local laws and rules. Thank you. If I have a guest that is currently in the house, their check out at 10am. You would have to wait until the house is cleaned to check in. I will contact you when the other guests check out to communicate what time you can check in. Strict cancellation policy, and change of dates policy. If you want to extend your stay, you’re more than welcome. No early checkout refund due to the blocking of other bookings. The TVs are smart TVs that can access most apps. You would need to connect the smart tv to connect to most apps for you to sign into your account. No local channels. If you do not know how to work, a smart TV with apps, like Netflix and Hulu, I recommend that you do not book my place There are enough blankets, towels, linens, pillows, etc. for the amount of people you request on your reservation. If you have extra people from what was you requested, you will need to pay for those extra guests. I will accommodate those guests with linens as well. 24/7 Surveillance on the property, cameras are mounted outside and being recorded. Safety details provides more information on this listing. No smoking of anything in the house. I have had too many times that people are smoking in the house. You will need to pay a minimum $200 if any guests smoke in the house. No pets due to medical reasons
