Cosy Room
Description
A peaceful country hideaway with a touch of character. Set in the heart of the friendly country town of Yarram, this well-loved older home puts you just a short stroll from the local art gallery, shops, cafés, pubs, and everyday essentials. It’s the kind of town where life moves a little slower and neighbours still say hello. The space This cosy bedroom is bathed in beautiful west-facing afternoon light, perfect for soaking up the glow before sunset. It features a dressing table with drawers, a desk, two comfy chairs to relax in, and a block-out blind for a restful night’s sleep. Guest access Feel free to make yourself at home with access to all shared areas of the house, along with a cosy lounge space in the garden studios. During your stay I really enjoy having housemates and have been living the Airbnb life for many years. Storm and I both delight in the gentle buzz of people coming and going — a colourful mix of travellers, stories, accents and adventures. It’s all part of the fun, and we love sharing the experience along the way. Other things to note My standard Groodle dog lives here too. She’s 4 years old, very gentle, and loves meeting new people. She’s also perfectly happy relaxing quietly in my room if needed. She enjoys making new friends and is always up for a friendly nose bump and a good scratch. Her favourite game is tug-of-war, and she’ll happily play fetch if you’re willing to trade the ball back for a dog treat — a deal she takes very seriously. She’s currently in training (slowly but surely!) to one day become a therapy dog, and she always appreciates patient encouragement from kind housemates. I try to live lightly on the planet by conserving energy and recycling wherever possible. If there’s anything you need during your stay, please feel free to reach out — I’m always available via the Airbnb app, even if we’re all busy out enjoying life. Note: current reviews are from my time spent in Windsor Melbourne so public transport is not as convenient though reviews give you a good insight to my hospitality and Storms personality. 🌿 From Forest to Sea – Discover South Gippsland Perfectly positioned in the heart of South Gippsland, Yarram is your gateway to a region where towering forests roll into open farmland and end at wild, unspoilt coastline.
