It is a modern holiday cottage with a traditional blackhouse exterior, combining the very best of both worlds! Ideal for couples and families, it has ample space for everyone. The lounge is open to the roof giving an amazing sense of height, yet it is warm and cosy with a gas effect log fire creating a snug atmosphere. There are two three seater sofas for everyone to curl up on and a flat screen TV with Sky for evening entertainment. Patio doors lead to the rear of the cottage, a perfect spot to recline on the garden furniture and enjoy sunny (hopefully!) evenings. The stair case from the lounge leads you up into the roof space where there is a gallery open to the lounge and there is a twin bedroom. The gallery has additional seating with a sofa and chairs, ideal for games and reading books. There is also a computer desk with computer for guests to use. WiFi is available throughout the house. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric range to cook on, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining table with six chairs for evening meals. Off from the hall there is a cloakroom with WC, heated towel rail and wash hand basin. The two double bedrooms are both on the ground floor and each has a shower ensuite, flat screen TV with Sky and ample furniture for storing clothes. The ensuites are modern with WC, large shower, wash hand basin and LED lit heated mirrors. The holiday home is heated throughout with gas fired central heating. There is a cot and high chair available though please bring your own linen for the cot. Please note that as the cottage is a traditional thatched cottage, neither BBQ's nor bonfires are not allowed in the garden. The owners would prefer Fairy Glen Cottage is used for holiday purposes only rather than business accommodation.
