Situated a stone’s throw from the Yarra River and surrounded by beautiful natural landscape, this modern home provides the perfect base to explore Warburton and surrounds. Cook up a storm in the country style kitchen, find a secret spot in the rambling garden to read a book, enjoy a local wine on the sun drenched deck whilst letting the kids hideout in the cubby house. The space Misty Mountain Retreat is perfectly set up for a rejuvenating country escape, whilst providing all of the essentials to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. The house is located on a fertile block and you will be able to appreciate the abundant garden from every room in the house. A favourite spot is the open plan country style kitchen from where glorious mountain views can be enjoyed. The kitchen is charming yet modern, with integrated dishwasher, fridge, new oven and stovetop, and a large wooden table to share meals and play board games. The wood heater in the adjacent lounge room adds that extra level of cosiness and warmth during the famous Warburton winters. You can while away hours reading the paper, sipping coffee or a drop of your favourite Pinot on the expansive deck, complete with electric retractable awning for sunny days. It’s common for kookaburras, cockatoos and parrots to make their presence known as they also seem to love this spot! Both the main bathroom and the ensuite to the main bedroom have a toilet, large shower and deep hot tub (perfect for muscle recovery after a long hike or bike ride!) for those wanting to explore Warburton by bike there is also a secure shed where you are welcome to store your bikes. Young families will enjoy letting the kids run free on the property, close the gate and they can explore the cubby house with a perfect lookout to the street, countless spots for hide and seek, and many games and books in the second living room with TV/play area. The two queen bedrooms and two kids rooms (each with one bunk bed) have high quality mattresses and cotton bedding so everyone can benefit from a good nights sleep! Guest access Guests will be able to access the full property, however the bungalow at the back of the property will be locked. Other things to note The house is located in a quiet residential area so bookings for parties will not be accepted - no bucks/hens/large groups. Families with very young children will need to make sure they are supervised on the property and the deck area near the steps.
