Warooka, the gateway to the bottom end of the infamous Yorke Peninsula. An entire home available for your stay, sleeping up to 9 guests. Indoor and outdoor fire. Just a 2.5 hour drive from Adelaide, escape to a getaway bordering on an 18 hole golf course, nestled in amongst the gums and the families of galah's that call this place home. Point Turton is a quick 10 min drive away with Jetty and boat launching facilities avail. Not to mention Flaherty's Beach, search it... I will say no more. The space This is a newly built 3 bedroom home with two Queen bed rooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds. One bunk in double bed and single bed format. The other bunk single beds. The room sleeps 5 guests in total. Both Queen rooms have TV’s for use. The rear Queen room has a DVD player with plenty of DVD’s for use. There are a few board games for use stored under the bunk beds. Guests need to provide their own linen to keep cleaning costs down. Quilts, blankets and pillows available for use. Guests to bring quilt covers, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, tea towels and hand towels. For stays two nights or longer, linen maybe available on request depending on availability, for an extra $100 due to laundering time/costs. Linen cannot be provided for one night stays. My home has two full bathrooms including a bath. a laundry with a top loader. BYO laundry detergents. If there are only 2-3 people staying I may request to only open one bathroom up for your stay to assist the cleaner. Main living area has a large TV with Smart DVR. Reverse cycle split system in main living area and ceiling fans in the queen bedrooms. Also a combustion heater available for use during winter - BYO wood please. A new BBQ is available in the rear shed for guests to use. Please leave this in the shed while in use and turn off the gas when finished with please. Guests are asked to clean the BBQ area after use please. Please let me know if a gas bottle runs out so I can get it refilled before the next guests arrive! The outdoor deck is very spacious, with views as far as Edithburgh on a clear day. There is a large 8 seater table, couches and outdoor smart TV. A cosy fire pit area for use out of the fire danger season. BYO wood. Internet now connected. The DVR can be used to access streaming including Netflix which I have set up. My home is a short walk to the Main Street of Warooka, where there is a well stocked Foodworks, Hardware Store, Hotel, pharmacy and hairdresser. A short 5 minute drive will take you to the infamous Flahertys Beach 🏝 and a short 10 minute drive to Point Turton where there is a Tavern, Jetty and boat launching facilities. The Warooka Golf Course is situated behind my property and is operational during the winter months. Guest access Guests are able to use my entire home. One bedroom is sealed off for my private use only. One bathroom maybe locked if only a small group is booked, but will be discussed with guests prior to arrival. The rear shed is accessible with a key to access for the BBQ. Please leave the BBQ in this area. Please do not set up any portable BBQ on the deck area due to oil spillage and fire hazard concerns. My property is large enough to be able to store several boats or caravans whilst you are on holiday to assist you in your travels. Driveway access to a flat rear pad which can access power from shed if required. Pets welcome however no fencing to the property. Pets can be inside if housetrained, however not on furniture or beds please. Other things to note Just for information, I do require guests to bring their own linen. I provide pillows, quilts and blankets. This is ensure cleaning costs are to a minimum for guests staying. For stays 2 nights or longer, Linen maybe available on request depending on availability, for an extra $100 due to laundering time/costs. I am trialling this option due to the high demand of requests. Linen cannot be provided for one night stays. I only provide toilet paper, dishwashing items, cleaning products and basic coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. There may be other items in my pantry which are available for you to use but these items are not to be relied upon, check dates etc. It’s best if occupants bring all they require for using my kitchen facilities including oils, spices etc as these items are not provided. I do not provide toiletries -BYO soaps, hair products etc. Please do your best to leave my home tidy for the cleaner, please assist with loading dishwasher and starting cycle and clearing refrigerator of all items. If linen has been hired, please strip all beds and leave linen in a pile for my cleaner. Thank you 🙏 Guests to bring sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases, towels, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels.
