This newly renovated space is adjacent to our home with its own private entrance. Main level features a full kitchen with spices and cookbooks, center island with sink and 3 stools plus pub table dining with 4 chairs. (more available upon request) The upper level is where all 3 beds are, a full bathroom and cozy living room space. There is also a partially fenced in back courtyard with outdoor furniture, gas fireplace and many lit up gardens for a private outdoor setting . The space Centrally located between the Twin Cities, St. Cloud and Mankato this guesthouse greets you with a covered white porch for morning or afternoon beverages. A full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and pub dining space for eating or playing games. The upper level is an open loft with a studio feel that provides a queen bed, twin/day bed and living room with flat screen TV. It comes with a yoga mat, blocks and meditation pillow and there is plenty of space to stretch out. There is a full bathroom with a raised toilet, tub and shower. It also comes with a spa tray should you or a child prefer a relaxing bubble bath. Just outside the bathroom is an oversized wardrobe with several shelves, 4 pull out drawers for toiletries and personal items. It also provides a clothes hanging section. Next to it is a 14 x 15 private bedroom with a large window, queen bed, bench for storage and a full closet with deep shelves and a 2 dresser drawer. The loft has been a past yoga then art studio, is loaded with color and houses many treasures from our family travels. A full set of watercolor paint, brushes, paper and supplies are provided in the little desk for the creative soul. This space makes for a special retreat or getaway with your child or grandchild to make special memories or a special vibe stay for working remote. It can be rented by the day, week or month. This unique place has a style all its own, is crazy welcoming and is waiting for you. Guest access Outside the front door is an open porch with a seating area that you can enjoy a beverage or just relax. During Spring, Summer and Fall months the gardens surrounding the porch are in full bloom, lit up in color and show off a tropical twist. The entire property is nestled in with many types of ferns, Asiatic lilies, giant caster bean plants, red and green canna lilies, monstrous elephant ears and various seasonal colored perennials. Around back is a partially fenced in courtyard of flagstone and aggregate patio. There are additional perennial gardens, outdoor furniture and gas fire pit to enjoy. There are bird houses and feeders that bring in many types of birds and the squirrels out back always seem to put on a monkey show all on their own. There is an outdoor table and chairs for a snack or meal. This outdoor space makes for a sweet shaded sanctuary hideaway to enjoy on a hot afternoon. There are concrete granite mosaic steps that separate our land from the neighbors and will bring you around to our veggie garden. A pergola smothered in wisteria makes a nice sitting area and an outdoor grill is available for a BBQ.
