Relax and enjoy the quiet and charming central neighbourhood of Seaton Village/Christie Pits in our peaceful pied-à-terre. Our neat and tidy apartment is the perfect place to work from home, or unwind at the end of the day. Or enjoy the use of our delightful urban garden, shared with upstairs neighbours. The space Entering into the basement apartment from the street, you will find an anti-room to store your bike or anything else you need to store. You will find clean white walls, and pot lights throughout the recently renovated cozy apartment, and a charming combination of modern and retro decor. The mixed use living room/bedroom with a murphy bed allows for a little more leg room during the day, and the comfort of a queen sized mattress covered with high thread count sheets at night. The compact kitchen has everything you will need, including seating for four and the new bathroom has a large walk-in shower, adjustable lighting and a very quiet fan. There is a second entrance from the living room/bedroom to the south facing garden with several lovely trees and a new patio and high wooden fences. The garden is shared with the upstairs neighbours. The back door also allows a generous amount of southern light into the apartment. This apartment is not for those blessed with tremendous height, the ceilings are low (6'7") and there is a bulkhead that is very much in the way of the kitchen area, that requires most grown adults to duck to use the kitchen. This is something we are working to remove, but it is more complicated than we thought it would be! We have lovely, friendly, quiet neighbours upstairs and we all share the noise of the house, so please be respectful. No noise between 11pm and 7am. You will also enjoy the quiet! We are happy to host your well-mannered dogs, but cats are not allowed. There is a resident with a severe allergy to cats in the house. Guest access You have access to the full basement apartment and backyard. Other things to note We keep up-to-date neighbourhood points of interest, groceries, market dates, laundromat (100 metres away), bars, restaurants and coffee shops for your information. We are located a 7 minute walk or 2 minute bus to Ossington TTC Station. The neighbourhood is also easily accessible by bike, with dedicated bike lanes on many major streets. We are located at the heart of everything west-end Toronto has to offer. Christie Pits, Dufferin Grove, The Annex, and the Ossington strip, Geary brew pubs are all within a lovely stroll or a short bike ride.
