Fireplace room with sauna and code lock entrance

A spacious, large and cozy fireplace room on the ground floor of a three-storey detached house with its own entrance and electric lock. The space Spacious, large and cozy fireplace room on the ground floor of a three-storey detached house with its own entrance. The apartment is practically a studio with a sauna but without a kitchen. The space has its own entrance with an electric lock, so you can arrive freely and without time restrictions. Thanks to the remote-controlled electric lock, you can check in independently with a code without having to agree on arrival times. You can conveniently park your car in front of the entrance. Ideally suited for both remote work and accommodation. The space is equipped for both the remote work needs of the knowledge worker and the relaxation needs. For sleeping, the room has an alcove with a 140 cm wide double bed. There is a bedside table with a reading lamp next to the bed. Next to the bed there is a wardrobe with extra blankets and space for your own clothes. For leisure, the room has a comfortable sofa with a slanted fireplace and a TV (no antenna connection) with a Chromecast installed directly in front of it. Chromecast works through the Internet connection in the house and allows you to watch, for example, YLE Arena, Youtube or NETFLIX (requires logging in with your own NETFLIX credentials). The TV connection also includes an HDMI cable for connecting your own laptop, for example. For remote work needs, there is an electric desk in the corner of the room with a saddle chair in front of it. The electric desk has two external monitors for remote work needs. One of the displays is a 4K dock display that you can connect directly to the laptop with a USB-C cable and the display also charges the laptop at the same time. The other display is a 2K display with both HDMI and Display Port connections. If your laptop has both USB-C and HDMI/Displayport connections, you can connect both monitors to your laptop at the same time. The remote workstation is built for the apartment owner's own needs, but is naturally available to guests. The fireplace room also has access to the sauna and toilet area on the floor. The sauna has a ready-to-use stove that is easy to turn on. The sauna heater heats up to sauna-ready in just over half an hour. There are no other accommodation facilities on the same floor, but the fireplace room has access through the curtain to the apartment's shared utility room, which has a washing machine and a dryer. From the utility room there are stairs up to the rest of the apartment. At the top of the stairs there is a door that restricts access to the rest of the apartment. The beautiful courtyard of the detached house with its terraces is at the disposal of the guests. Possibility to agree on the use of a wood-fired yard sauna. Guest access The basement floor with a fireplace room and an associated bathroom and sauna is reserved exclusively for guests. The utility room on the basement floor is the apartment's general utility room, but during short-term stays (1-2 nights) it is not normally used for the needs of the rest of the apartment. The kitchen and dining area on the middle floor of the apartment are for the use of the host family. When the host family is present, you can ask for breakfast. Other things to note PETS: ‐------------ Indoor cats and dogs are welcome. The apartment has been home to two adorable cats from time to time, so please take this into account if you are very allergic. However, the equipment of the apartment does not include the accessories required for pets, but they must be brought with you. If you are traveling with your pets, make sure you have everything you need (food bowls, cat litter box) BREAKFAST / USE OF KITCHEN --------------------------------------- The fireplace room itself is not suitable for long-term stays if the intention is to cook food in the space. Although the apartment has a microwave, coffee maker and kettle, there is no separate, functional kitchen. However, suitable solutions can usually be found for dining needs. Depending on the situation, it is possible to either have breakfast prepared by the hosts or use the upstairs kitchen yourself. Prepared breakfast is an extra charge and availability varies. Breakfast is served on the middle floor of the apartment. Always check breakfast availability in advance before booking if breakfast availability is a deciding factor! However, the fireplace room is also available for self-service guests when the apartment is otherwise empty. In this case, guests can use the kitchen facilities on the middle floor, as long as the traces are cleaned carefully and the used dishes are washed (by hand or in the dishwasher). The middle floor of the apartment (kitchen + living room) is not part of the so-called rented space and the cleaning fee does not take into account that these would be cleaned between each visit.
