Wake up to panoramic views of the Kinglake Ranges, with kangaroos grazing nearby and a chorus of native birds greeting the day. Our property is a haven for Australian wildlife, including wombats, echidnas, and a variety of bird species. Stroll through our bespoke farm, say hello to our friendly cows and chickens, or explore the nearby nature trails that wind through the lush landscape. For nature enthusiasts, the nearby Kinglake National Park offers picturesque hiking trails and opportunities to connect with the great outdoors. Other things to note We strive to be as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible. Bins are provided for compost and recycling, and we highly encourage you to use these during your stay. Please also keep in mind your water usage as the whole property runs on rainwater & a septic sewerage system. We rely on good rainfall to keep our tanks topped up, so during the summer months especially, we appreciate your help with this. NOTE: *The rainwater is completely safe to drink straight from the tap. It is filtered and tested regularly for impurities. You are staying in a semi-rural environment and we do see snakes & spiders occasionally. They are a part of this beautiful landscape. Snakes are generally very shy and will avoid contact with you. Just tread carefully and if you do see one, turn and walk in the opposite direction. This is a working farm and on occasion, there will be work vehicles and machinery in use. We apologise for any noise or disturbance this may cause, however, sometimes this is unavoidable.
