A colourful, welcoming, and well lit Victorian family home with a rustic feel. Only 10 minutes walk to the Barbican and a 5 min walk to the parks. There is a Co-Op, laundrette, fish and chip shop, pharmacy and hairdressers all within 30 metres. Very close access to the A38. This is the perfect location for holidaying, with easy access to Cornwall, Devon, Dartmoor, beaches and Plymouth attractions: dining out, Theatre Royal, Plymouth Hoe, Barbican, Royal William Yard and Saltram House. The space A spacious, 3 bedroom Victorian home with separate dining room and lounge. The street and surrounding area is all free parking. Please note that the house is located on a hill - there are options for flat parking at the bottom of the street. You have access to the whole house via the front door. **SEPARATE ANNEX** I have an annex at the back of this property. It is self contained with its own private entrance at the rear of the property. The guests in the annex have no access to this property and this property does not have access to the annex. There is a door from the main kitchen to the annex but this is permanently locked with a sound barrier. If you wish to book the annex as well, please get in touch. It sleeps 2 people. Please note the heating will stay off from May-Sep. Any issues with this, let me know. As we are located next to the ocean we do have seagulls that you will sometimes hear from the house. The house is located in a terraced, urban area. It’s close to the City Center, however, as mentioned in previous reviews, the location remains quiet and peaceful. Kitchen/dining: The kitchen comes with everything you would need as if you were in your own home; including crockery, cutlery, oven trays, coffee machine, tea station and cooking utensils. There is a washing machine in the kitchen and two clothes dryers on the upstairs landing. Oil, salt, pepper etc are provided. There is also a separate dining room with an extendable table for larger groups. Some coffee pods will be provided but if you need more these are located at the local Aldi or most other large supermarkets. Dolce Gusto, in a square box. Alternatively, there is always a French press and ground coffee provided. Master Bedroom: A very large and spacious king bedroom. This room gets bright afternoon sun. It is equipped with two alcove open wardrobes, hangers, trouser clips, a desk, lamps and bedside tables. All linen and towels are provided. A hair dryer and iron will be provided in this room. Second Bedroom: A large double room, with plenty of space. It comes with two wardrobes, a chest of drawers, lamp and two bedside tables. This room gets morning sun and perfect for those early risers that enjoy some rays. Third Bedroom: A more cosy space with a double bed, bedside drawers and a chest of drawers. This room also gets very pleasant morning sun. Please note there is a boiler in this room and it can sometimes be heard. Living Room: A large corner sofa and armchair make for ample seating. An array of lamps, candles and incense set the scene for a cosy evening in. This room gets warm afternoon sun and has a very bright feel. Equipped with a ROKU TV meaning you can sign in and stream on any of your preferred networks. This has guest mode which automatically logs you out after your stay. I have left a large and eclectic range of books, which you are welcome to read. Dining Room: Another lovely room which can open up on to the lounge, great for dining or getting the board games and cards out for a social evening. Bathroom : A cosy bathroom with a shower and the option for a bath too! Please note that due to the age of the bath there is some cosmetic damage but it doesn't affect usage. The house is mid-terraced with lovely, quiet neighbours, large windows and high ceilings leaving you feeling relaxed and comfortable. It's a ‘lived in’ and colourful home so expect some quirky features and personal touches around the house. Children are most welcome, however the house does not come with any child-proofing and the responsibility of safety belongs to the guests Guest access You have access to the whole house (not including the annex) from the front door.
