The home has 3 bedrooms, a sleek kitchen & a charming lounge area. This home is perfect for guests looking for a luxurious & quiet beachside escape close to all the action Galveston has to offer! The space This early 1900s home is a complete remodel with its original charm but a fresh, coastal feel. The Sancuary is located in the middle of all the close amenities and night life. Sleeping Arrangements & Bathrooms ● Primary Suite: 1 queen bed with beautiful en suite, t.v. ● Secondary Suite: 1 queen bed off hallway with a TV, and a full bathroom located across the hall ● 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds and t.v. and full bathroom across the hall Kitchen & Laundry ● Sleek, modern kitchen with full stainless steel appliances and quartz counters ● Keurig coffee maker ● In-unit washer & dryer available in the house with supplies ● Beach towels and chairs are provided for guests ● Fully-equipped with essential appliances, cookware, utensils, seasonings, and cleaning products. ● Extra clean pillows & blankets, fresh paper products, cooking basics, shampoo/conditioner, soaps, hangers, and linens will be provided for guests. Living ● Large entertainment area with cozy sofas, accent chairs, and TV ● nice dining table with restoration hardware chairs ● Three bar stools located at the bar counter for additional seating Outside ● Smartlock self check-in for guest ease ● Home is stocked with beach supplies including: beach chairs, toys, a wagon, and beach towels all for guest use ● parking spots in front and by garage Rocking chairs on front porch and seating on back patio Other things to note Things to Do WHERE TO EAT & DRINK: ● The Spot (0.5 mi) -- Great local spot to sit beachside and eat seafood, burgers, tacos, or a sweet treat! ● Bambú (.8 mi) -- This place is said to be a local’s best kept secret with some of the island’s absolute best Mexican food. The “surprise” burritos, carne asada, and barbacoa tortas are all must-tastes. ● Black Pearl Oyster Bar (1.1 mi) -- If you want to try the freshest Gulf oysters in Galveston, they are bountiful at Black Pearl. If you are an oyster newbie, check out the 12-oyster sampler with three flavors. ● Trattoria La Vigna (1.3 mi) -- This eatery is a standout when it comes to Italian cuisine in Galveston. ● Yamato Japanese Restaurant (2 mi) -- This sushi and hibachi restaurant has served up some of Galveston’s freshest and finest Japanese food for the past 20 years. WHAT TO DO: The manard mansion oldest house in galveston is steps away and our neighbor. ● Visit the many nearby beaches! -- Stewart Beach is very family-friendly while Galveston Island State Park is more for guests looking for nature & adventure! Head over to the popular East Beach to catch a summer concert and stroll the boardwalk! ● The cruise terminal 1.3 miles and piers are located on the opposite side of the island from this home! ● Visit Moody Gardens & Aquarium Pyramid 3.2 miles -- A massive complex with activities for the whole family featuring three glass pyramids: Discovery Pyramid, Rainforest Pyramid, and Aquarium Pyramid ● Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier (within walking distance!) -- Tap into your adventurous side at the Pier, packed with 16 rides and attractions like Iron Shark Roller Coaster, Pirate's Plunge, Galaxy Wheel, and Sea Dragon! ● The Strand Historic District 1.2 miles (entire 5-block district in downtown) ○ Consists of many Victorian-era buildings that now serve as the communities cafes, restaurants, galleries, & antique stores.
