Home in Blue Ridge

Life on Golden Pond has easy access on paved roads between Blue Ridge and McCaysville Copperhill. You are 15 mins. from downtown Blue Ridge for shopping, local restaurants and outdoor adventures. McCaysville, CopperHill is 15 mins. north with access to white water rafting the world class Ocoee River. This house is next-door to a larger house currently lived in by the owner. You will have privacy and full access to all outdoor amenities. There is a saltwater pool ! You may not want to leave! The space The Farmhouse 2 cottage is bright and modern. There is a queen bed and a twin futon available for guest with children. It was not intended for 4 adults specifically as there is only one bedroom. Children must be with an adult outside because of pool and pond . There is a fire pit right beside the pool. Only One set of starter logs will be provided . Fightingtown Creek is below the house. There is the occasional outdoor cat which can be spotted sleeping! This is the perfect place for couples who love the outdoors . Space for 2 children and are welcome! Guest access Sorry, we do live in the mountains and the pool is closed September 15 until May 1. During the summer months, you will have access to Saltwater pool. Fishing pond and outside grill areas are open year round. You will have full access to the outdoor areas. Other things to note Sorry, no pets and there are quiet hours late night at the pool . Your outdoor activities need to be quiet by 10:30 pm . This is a saltwater pool. There is no lifeguard! Life jackets are available at the pond dock. The pond is stocked with fish . Fightingtown Creek is just below the house. There is a fire ring and only your first starter log is provided. There is a 50 inch TV in the living room and a 40 inch TV in the bedroom. I do have a border collie name, Penny . She is with me in the house as much as possible. Please message me if you have any questions. She has never bitten anyone and I do not expect her to ever bite anyone. But she does bark on occasion.  Please no parties and no additional guest. If there’s to be an exception, please just ask me.
