Welcome to our seaside flat - beautiful sea views from every room, located in Portobello. Turn right out of the front door and find yourself on the beach. Brilliant location for those looking to explore Edinburgh, without staying in the hustle and bustle of the city. Take a 7min train journey or a 30min bus ride right into the heart of the city, retreating back to seaside bliss after a day of exploring. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance to keep you fuelled! The space We are incredibly lucky to have a spacious flat with sea views in every room, and the high ceilings keep the flat feeling light and airy. Your room has a wardrobe with coat hangers and shelves for your things to keep the space free, as well as space under the bed for your luggage (we can also store your luggage in the cupboard for you!). There is an internal lock on your room door. We also want you to feel at home, and will provide a tea and coffee station in your room for those holiday mornings where you'd like a few extra minutes in bed! Guest access The kitchen is a shared space with myself and partner when we are around (you'll find us quiet, tidy and also out for long periods with our busy schedules), as well as our lovely roommate who will pop in occasionally - she is also out often and does not hang around in communal areas. We will be sharing a bathroom, however you'll find us tidy and not serial 'bathroom hoggs'! I leave for work around 5am and don't get back until mid-late afternoon - the early starts mean I'm also in bed early doors. The kitchen will be available for use should you choose to, you will be welcome to our utensils and crockery, as well as basics (salt, pepper etc). If required, we have a washing machine and ironing board available upon request. We can also provide desk space should it be needed for anyone working on their travels (although, the coffee bar in the kitchen is a favourite space of mine!). During your stay Prior to your trip, I'll take any questions you may have on this app. During your stay, myself or my partner will be available should you need anything! In the event of us being through in Glasgow (as we split our time between EDI/GLA), we will provide contact numbers should you need us during your stay. Other things to note We are a friendly bunch but will respect your space! Due to my early schedule, I'm away early in the morning and in bed early evening, so generally won't intrude on typical routine times. We kindly ask to respect noise levels past 9pm for the sake of our neighbours as well as us, of course we will respect being quiet before 8am for you too!
