Hike the property's perimeter trail or access local trails in Sewanee and in the South Cumberland State Park. DESCRIPTION OF BAIRD FARMHOUSE • The one-story house is approximately 2 miles from All Saints' Chapel and even closer to St. Andrew’s Sewanee School and the Sewanee airport. It is immediately off Jump Off Road (Hwy 156) down Afton Lane. It is the first house you see on your left. • It sits on a 33-acre farm and is around 2500 square feet. • It has a kitchen, dining area, sunroom, living room, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, utility room, back deck with outdoor table and chairs, gas grill, front porch with two bench swings, and covered carport. The floors are hardwood, tile, and carpet. • Three bedrooms have Queen beds, and the master has a king bed. There is a shower in both bathrooms. • There is a washer, dryer, freezer, microwave, two refrigerators/freezers, a large “smart” TV, HDMI cord, dishwasher, gas grill, central air, and sunroom. • Fiber-supplied WiFi is available. You have access to all but the basement which is shut off. We are always available by phone, text, or email to help. We live close by, so we can help in person if needed. Our neighborhood is a 30-acre farm full of lush trees and native wildlife. Our personal home is up the hill from our farmhouse and is usually not visible. We are the only two houses on the property. There is a hiking trail around our property for your use as well as incredible hiking and biking in all directions. The University of the South is two miles away as well as some restaurants and shops.
