The space 43 acre ranch a short distance from Mt Lassen National Park. Chickens and a Macaw named Libby all welcome you to our secluded retreat, perfect for a total reset away from the busy-ness of everyday life. You will have access to the main house exclusively for the Labor Day weekend holiday. The Studio and cabins are rented out to other guests. Roast hot dogs and s'mores at the fire pit or enjoy a refreshing adult beverage on the back deck or Koi Pond deck. Star gazing is amazing from the back deck or anywhere on the property. Discover the charm of ranch living with all the comforts of home. Guest access You have access to the entire property which includes common spaces and the two bedrooms and baths in the main house. If you’d like to camp outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent in the park along the creek or the pond. Feel free to wander around the pond, go for a dip in the swimming pool or the icy cold fresh water creek! You are welcome to any food and condiments in the frig, cabinets and/or pantry. We provide coffee maker, filters and coffee. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We have 3 very friendly dogs who roam the property and keep wild animals away. We lock them in the back yard when guests come who are uncomfortable with dogs, but you may hear them crying to get out! They are harmless and may want to follow you around the property. Let us know if you’re uncomfortable with dogs and we will lock them up! Be mindful when going thru gates. Also, because we are remote, there may occasionally be critters in and around the house. Mice or ground squirrels, chipmunks and other small animals may be seen.
