The space Welcome to Your Private Ranch Retreat This property offers full access to the entire ranch house, including a spacious garage, a screened-in gazebo, an outdoor saltwater pool, and a private outdoor bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower for rinsing off. Main Level: • The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a smart TV, and a private en-suite bathroom. • The office area includes a queen-size bed. • A second family/TV room offers a queen-size sleeper sectional, a smart TV, and a dining table that seats six with a barn sliding door. • The main family room, connected to the kitchen, includes two loveseats, a standard sofa, and a smart TV and a kitchen table that seats six. In total, the home is equipped with six smart TVs throughout for your entertainment. Upstairs: • Two private bedrooms on opposite ends of the home each offer a queen bed. • The loft in the center features a queen-size sleeper sofa. • Inside the loft closet, there’s a blow-up mattress with full bedding, pillows, and blankets. • One of the upstairs bedrooms also includes a spacious walk-in closet with heating and A/C vents, electrical outlets (perfect for a baby monitor or sound machine), and a full mattress with bedding—ideal for babies or young children, as it remains dark and quiet. The home comfortably sleeps 12–16 when guests share beds. Additional Details: An adjacent small apartment near the pool is occupied by our adult son, who is available on-site for emergencies. Given the uniqueness of the property—including the saltwater pool, water features, and longhorn cattle—you may see him occasionally in the evenings as he tends to the longhorns. He respects guests’ privacy and keeps to himself. Events & Extras: For an additional fee, guests may rent two outdoor buildings—perfect for small events such as family reunions, parties, showers, birthdays, or weddings. The main saloon and general store are both climate-controlled (heated and air-conditioned) and include tables, bars, and seating for up to 25 guests. Can hold more if more chairs and tables are brought in. Please Note: • The pool slide has a 200 lb weight limit. • The pool area is monitored by security cameras. • We kindly ask that all toys and personal items be removed from the pool area before departure. This peaceful country getaway combines rustic charm, a luxurious saltwater pool, and the iconic presence of majestic longhorns—offering a truly unforgettable experience. Guest access Enjoy our weather-permitting salt water swimming pool. Shallow splash pad area for little ones, and on the opposite end is the diving rock going to 9 feet deep! The area includes a screen-enclosed gazebo for shaded lounging, as well as a separate outdoor shower and bathroom facility for your convenience. Please note, security cameras are in place overlooking the pool area for safety and security. Important Note: The pool slide has a 200 lb weight limit. We also ask whatever toys and items you bring into the pool, that they get removed from the pool before you leave. Other things to note We are just five miles from a Super Walmart in Checotah, Oklahoma—hometown of Carrie Underwood. You’ll find restaurants, bowling, shopping, and plenty of antique stores to explore! Some local favorites include: • El Jaracho, a great Mexican restaurant • Watson’s Smoked Meat and Deli, perfect for a sit-down meal or to pick up fresh, local meats to grill • Gambino’s and Simple Simon’s, two popular pizza spots • Casey’s gas station, where you can also order or grab takeout pizza • June’s Restaurant, a must-visit for chicken fried steak! All of these are located in Checotah. A little further south, on the way to Lake Eufaula, don’t miss Captain John’s—known for their excellent steaks, chops, and seafood!
