The space This charming pine log cabin was built in 2005. Small but practical, it is a cozy little hideaway in the Espoo countryside. The cabin has a water toilet and shower (partitioned from the entryway – see the floor plan). The shower’s hot water tank is small (35 L), so showers are short. The kitchenette includes a fridge, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, kettle, dishes for two, and cooking utensils including pots and pans. The bed is 150 cm wide. The living area has a small fireplace and TV. The cabin also has electric heaters and blackout curtains. Note: Authentic pine log walls cannot be cleaned, so completely dust-free accommodation cannot be guaranteed. The cabin is surrounded by nature and meadows. Weathered pine logs create an authentic atmosphere, offering a peaceful escape from modern life. Paths are mostly maintained, but dandelions may take over occasionally – butterflies and buzzing insects will appreciate it! Wood-fired sauna available from October 25 onwards – €25 per session. We are happy to show you how to light the sauna if you haven’t used a wood-fired sauna before. Water is heated in the sauna stove’s tank. During freezing weather, water must be carried from the main cabin’s bathroom to the sauna. In winter, heating the sauna takes slightly longer than in summer. In warmer months, summer water is available via hose. The main cabin also has a shower (35 L = short showers). About 200 meters away, we also have another cabin, “Mökki Kekkapää”, if you’d like to check it out. Guest access You can go to the horse stable to see the horses, we can introduce you to our stable. You are not allowed to go to horse stables, and you are not allowed to feed the horses anything. We live on the same farm approx. 100m away. We also have dogs, a cat and chickens. Our dogs roam freely in our other yard, you can come and greet them and get to know the chihuahua breed, let us know in advance if you want to get to know Kekkapää's horses or dogs. . Our cat may come to say hello, but it should not be allowed inside the cabin. Horse farm cottage next to the yard. Other things to note It is not possible to organize parties at the cottage, and smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside. The terrain is a dry forest. There is no grocery store nearby. The nearest (by car) Wolt service is 7 km away and you can order food / food items delivered. NOTE: the water for the sauna in the cold season, can be carried from the main cabin, in the summer season when the temperature is plus, there is a water hose in the sauna, from which the water goes to the sauna. there is no electricity in the sauna. We cannot guarantee completely animal dust-free / dust free accommodation ( the log itself has a gritty surface that catches dust and cannot be washed ) . Animal dust may come into the cabin with the textiles
