Stay in the heart of nature

Come and (re)discover the Centre-Val de Loire region or simply relax in peace, staying in an old farmhouse with ecological values and an intimate garden with trees (hammock in the heart of the orchard, sheep, medicinal plants, permaculture vegetable garden and a large flowery field to play, relax or contemplate nature). The space We rent in our inhabited house a nice double room, with a desk. Shared en suite bathroom, kitchen, summer kitchen, and living room. A 2nd double bedroom with the possibility of an extra mattress for one or two people is available upon request. (see photo bedroom 2) PLEASE NOTE: the price shown is for one room only. Bikes, outdoor dining area, BBQ, badminton, molkky, pétanque, balloons, soccer cage and good humor available on site.  In the heart of a quiet and preserved hamlet (4 km from the small village of Marcilly sur Maulne), you can discover our sheep, as well as the 2 neighboring farms, with cows and pigs raised outdoors and a goat farm (purchase of Saint-Maure de Touraine cheese directly from the farm is possible)  We can, if you wish, prepare breakfast, lunch and/or evening meals by reservation, from organic and local products, to be enjoyed in the house or seated in the garden. Remember to let us know a few days before ;) Cooking with edible plants and wildflowers is our specialty (we are producers), if you're interested too, let us know! We are an eco-place, where we are committed to bringing to life the actions and values of ecological transition (autonomy, eco-construction, do-it-yourself, solar shower, dry toilets, zero waste...). If you wish, we can share our commitments and adventure for the time of your stay.  Within the resident house 2 small cats, we also have a permaculture vegetable garden and an aromatic and medicinal garden being created, which is why we do not accept dogs. Other things to note Secure on-site parking available. **Places of interest and recreation near us** - Walks in the forest within walking distance.  - The nearby town of Château-La-Vallière, accessible in 8 minutes by car, has a lake with a beach for swimming.  - Lake Rillé 10 min away (restaurant-terrace with lake view, ornithological reserve, historic steam train ride, water skiing, tree climbing, pedal boats, wakepark, hiking...).  - Many castles and beautiful cities to visit nearby: Château du Lude 13 min, Château de Gizeux 16 min, Château de Gallerande 23 min, Château and Parc de Langeais 27 min, Château d'Ussé 32 min, Château de Villandry 39 min, Fortress and city of Chinon 40 min, Château du Riveau 48 min, city of Tours and Saumur about 40 min.  - La Flèche Zoo 27 min, Doué-la-Fontaine Zoo (and its famous rose fields!) 50 min, Beauval Zoo 1.5 hours.  - Visit to the troglodyte cellars and traditional boat rides on the Loire in Montsoreau (Banks of the Loire, Castle and Museum of Contemporary Art) and Candes-Saint-Martin - Artisan village of Turquant about 37 minutes away. - Wine tasting, castle tours, traditional Loire boat rides, hiking... Maps, plans and good local addresses available in the house!  We'll also be happy to recommend our good restaurants and outing ideas.
