The Daybreak is a bottom floor suite--all very private and very quiet-- with queen size wall bed that allows extra space during the day, a kitchenette, tub w/ shower, gas fireplace, private deck with gas BBQ, and an enclosed, heated gazebo to enjoy the northern lights. Stunning mountain views at no extra charge. Ample parking and private entrance. Centrally located for points east, west, north or south. Because the Daybreak Suite is a completely self-contained space, it is suitable for extended stays of 30 days or even longer. But shorter stays are equally welcome. Additional amenities, include a gas fireplace to keep you warm and toasty whatever the weather. You have access either through the front of the house which is for guest use only or through the back door of your accommodations. Breakfast can be enjoyed either in your own room or in the breakfast room next to it. The fun part about hosting is getting to know my guests but the extent of that interaction is entirely up to them. I am present throughout my guest's stay. I am blessed with good neighbors who are there when you need them. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and somewhat upscale ( by Alaska standards) although by no means exclusive. All of the lots are 1 acre in size. Breathe in deeply, because the air is, in all likelihood, cleaner than from where you come. Guests frequently remark how unusually peaceful it is hereabouts. Although public transportation does exist, it's limited and you really need a vehicle to get around in the Valley. There is ample off-street parking on the property. You will enjoy a continental style breakfast throughout your stay. This includes but is not limited to bacon, omelets, biscuits and gravy, quiche, bagels, muffins, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit ( such as strawberries, grapes, oranges, pineapple), as well as coffee, tea, juice, and cocoa.
