Explore the Sea of Cortez islands & coast between La Paz & Loreto as we cruise aboard our sailing Catamaran. A voyage of discovery! Depending on the season, we follow many different whales, orcas, dolphins, and we'll swim with sea lions! Cozy cabins, anchorages in protected bays, intimate setting, a sagacious naturalist & delicious fresh meals prepared by our chef. Guided hikes up canyons replete with birds, lizards & highly adapted desert plants. Kayaking and snorkeling among tropical fish! The space This offer is for the entire boat accommodating 3 couples or 6 friends, a family or private group. We can also accommodate 2 kids.The departure can be set for 2 - 10 night voyage Guest access While onboard, all meals are provided and freshly prepared by our private chef. Special dietary requirements will be taken into consideration with advance notice. Other things to note Our 45-foot sailing Catamaran El Mechudo has 4 cabins, each with a head (restroom) and shower. Each cabin has one double bed, and the two forward cabins each also have a single bed located in the pontoon. The fourth cabin head is for our crew. The Mechudo is an award-winning catamaran, designed by Robertson and Caine, one of the world’s leading charter boat builders. Built in 1998 in South Africa, this 4500 model has air conditioning available day & night. There is a large galley up front with a saloon and seating, and a large seating and dining area outside, under the canvas bimini. The width of the boat allows for plenty of deck space and one can always find a quiet, private spot. Aft there is a wide walkway across the boat and steps for easy water access. The boat sails incredibly well, is very stable and is equipped with complete electronics and high-powered engines, giving great performance and reliability under power as well as sail.
