Lazy Bear Hollow | Sasquatch Mnt

Welcome to the Lazy Bear Hollow, come enjoy our little slice of paradise located in Hemlock Valley! A quick 2 min drive (or 10 min walk!) from the Sasquatch Mountain Resort, which offers year round activities. Our ground level (no flights of stairs!) townhouse offers all of the amenities you need for your next family getaway! With 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, 6 people can easily enjoy the space. With retro arcade games, a PS4, smart TVs, and a 2 person Hot tub we’ve got everyone's fun covered. The space The Lazy bear Hollow is unit #2 in the Building, and is located on the Ground level! There are no stairs, besides the one at the front door and the deck. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a Queen bed, the second has a double sized bunk bed setup. The kitchen is fully equipped, and ready for you! From the deck, you will have a beautiful view of the village and mountains around! In the summer months the neighbor's have the best yard in the village with a firepit set up and golf putting areas, and they normally welcome visitors! :) Just remember to pick up after any pets. In the winter months: On mornings that it has snowed overnight, we have a snowplow come and plow the whole area in front of our building and the building next to us between 8am and 10am approx. This takes less than 30 minutes. Please be sure to move your vehicle/vehicles to allow the plow to remove all the snow. While the plow is here, you can park your vehicle on Larkspur just before the bridge on the right-hand side. Also, please note that parking for our unit includes two spaces and this is tandem parking in front of the deck. Please see diagram and refer to the parking sign outside. We are unit #2. If you require additional parking for day visitors, they can park their vehicle in the main lot at the resort. Please do not park anywhere else in front of the two cabins, as our neighbors and the other AirBb units have their own designated spots. Thank you for your cooperation! While staying, you'll be located in the middle of the village! Just a minutes walk away from the village walking trails, along the creek, or a 2 minute drive to the Sasquatch Mountain Ski Resort! Just up the road, is the Hemlock Hollow General Store, which has limited stock, but almost always has coffee. Guest access Guests will have access to all areas of the town house with the exception of any locked closet/ drawers that are reserved for Homeowner use. Other things to note During the Winter season, if it snows while you are staying, please make note that in the Morning between 8am-10am our Snow Removal operator will require all vehicles to move out of the parking lot. We recommend parking down the road by the bridge, as this will not affect other’s parking areas. 🙂 You will be staying in a rural area, so it is important to stay Bear Smart and also note that you may see the occasional rodent. We love our community and all of the animals in it, so please treat all with respect. The location of our space is remote, that is what makes it so amazing. However, due to this it may not be a good rental choice for guests with health concerns. There is a volunteer fire department on the mountain, but the nearest hospital is in Chilliwack, which is at least an hour away by car or ambulance. From October 1st to April 30th it is required by the Ministry of Transportation to carry chains or traction devices for all vehicles. Registration Details Provincial registration number: H681129548
