Surrounding sea roses infuse the air with their lovely scent. The space Jonesport is a small fishing village on the down east coast of Maine. A small fleet of lobster boats and sailboats dot the harbor. Enjoy the fresh clams, and lobsters right off the boat. A bridge leads from Jonesport to neighboring Beals Island, where an array of nature trails await you. Bring your kayaks for water outings. Guest access The entire house is for your enjoyment. There is also the adjacent lobster shack for your use. Other things to note You can buy lobsters from one of my next door neighbors. You only need to give them a day's notice so they can haul them for you. A beautiful beach, called Sandy River Beach, is on the east side of town with easy parking. Nearby Great Wass Island has beautiful walking/hiking trails through the woods, to the open ocean. Jonesport Pizza is located in town… Hard liquor, beer and wine can be purchased at Stewart's Grocery Diner/Takeout just down the road.
