Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. We’ll help you in everything that is necessary. Our house is located in a very quiet location, surrounded by nature close to the lake and at the same time close to the city. Nearby is the forest for walks or to go for a run and exercise, it has good circuits. Here you will find tranquility, peace and nature. We also have a cat called Artemis, he usually stay in the bedroom when we have visitors. :) The space In winter, the surroundings are tinged with Narnia-style white and don't be surprised to see a deer walking through the garden. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere in winter. You can watch TV in the living room, or just sit and read a book on the comfortable sofa. If you like snow sports, you can go to the Bjursas ski resorts (24km) 25min away by car and/or the ski resort in Romme (36km), as well as our small but fun ski center Kallviksbacken (4km). Ice skating is also practiced, great fun and you can skate to the islands on a frozen lake. In summer the whole area is dyed green and the days are longer, perfect for enjoying the day outdoors. You can practice cycling, mountain biking in the forest or Lugnet, canoeing or stand up paddle on the lake 5’; the forest is very close and Runn Lake is a couple of blocks walk down. Our bright room for guests (1-2 people), overlooks the garden with a beautiful view of the treetops and the sky of different colors. It has a functional desk to work or prepare studies, along with some accessories that could help you. It has a comfortable bed of 1.40 meters, we have an outdoor parking area next to the garden. The bathroom and the rest of the house will be share with me and Björn, that is always clean and in order. So we ask you to keep it the same way. :) Guest access Guests will have access to the kitchen where they can use the microwave and refrigerator, dishwasher or just cook meals. At home you will always have some tea/coffee and cookies. We also include bed linen and towels. At home we are calm, we love to travel and get to know different countries and their cultures. My partner speaks Swedish and English and I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and I understand Italian very well. Also learning Swedish. We hope you feel welcome and enjoy your stay in our home. We will be available for whatever you need. We also have bikes for rent if you are interested let us know. Bus ticket —- 50kr aprox for a ride Bike day——- 100kr for the all day. If you would like to be pick up from town we offer you to do it by car—-100kr The taxi can be expensive but remember you also have the bus, that is good too. :) If you would like a city tour by car (most important spots in Falun); or a bike city tour & forest, let us know and we will tell you more. During your stay Please don't hesitate to ask us any questions. We will always be available to help or guide you. Other things to note Bordering the beautiful Runn Lake, you will arrive at the center of the city of Falun. 12 minutes by bike and 5 minutes by car. We are located a few minutes from the bus stop, with frequencies every 10 minutes. A good location to Lugnet if you come for an event (2.5km), the University of Falun in case you come to a presentation (3km), Falun Hospital if you come to do an internship (3.5km), the Copper mine from Falun (4.5km), as well as if you are passing through and need a place to rest. We are 14min by car from the house of the renowned Swedish artist Carl Larsson (12km) beautiful house, view, art pieces and history. HOUSE’S RULES: •Check in: 15 pm- 23.30 pm •Check out: 10 am. Please ask me if you need more time. •Smoking is prohibited inside the house. •It is forbidden to invite another person to sleep in our house, outside the persons of the reservation. •Pets are not allowed since we have a cat at home. •From 23pm- 08 am we ask you to don’t make noise, so everybody sleeps well. •If you use the kitchen please put the things on dishwasher and clean the spaces you used. •We are calm and respectful people and we hope that you are too.
