✨ Fully renovated accommodation ✨ Guest house, in the heart of a typical village of the Entre-Deux-Mers, close to the banks of the Garonne and the vineyards. Located 25 km from Bordeaux, this accommodation is ideal for a family or a couple, to enjoy the joys of the region for a long weekend or a holiday in the countryside. You can cool off in the pool, or in the shade of the trees in our large garden. The space Cleaning fees include beds made on arrival and towels. 55 m2 stone house, duplex, with a mezzanine bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room, both separated by an open staircase. This accommodation is adjacent to our home, without being attached to it (indeed the gym and a large game room separates the two parts). You will enjoy a separate entrance, and the terrace overlooking the pool. The swimming pool (11 m*5 m) is shared with the two hosts (Mélaine and William) and any guests occupying the private rooms of the house. The pool is not secured, so children are the sole responsibility of the parents. You can enjoy the calm of the banks of the Garonne, 5 minutes' walk from the house, with picnic tables under the trees, and footpaths along the bank that you can walk to Île de Raymond and to the medieval village of Rions. On the other side, the hiking trails are steeper, in the middle of the vineyards, you can climb up to beautiful views to observe the bends of the Garonne. Upstairs: - bedroom with a double bed 140*190cm - a single bed 90 x 190 cm - a large closet with hangers - a bathroom with shower and sink Steep staircase, not closed by a door On the ground floor: - the living room with sofa bed for 2 people (duvet, pillows and bed linen provided) - the kitchen equipped open to the living room (washing machine, oven, fridge with freezer, stove, Nespresso coffee machine + piston, toaster, kettle, dishes...) - Restrooms Books and board games are available for the duration of your stay. The terrace: - a table to enjoy meals outdoors - outdoor lighting for long summer nights - relaxation chairs to enjoy the pool The garden, large and wooded, not fenced, you will have space to park your vehicle. Guest access You will have access to the accommodation described above, with independent entrance, and you will be the only ones to occupy it. The pool and garden are shared Other things to note Far from the frenzy of downtown Bordeaux, you can enjoy the Entre-deux-Mers, which is a dynamic territory, rich in its flourishing cultural activity, offering many events throughout the year. Several hiking trails and loops from the house, along the Garonne or in the heights among the vineyards. In the nearby village of Paillet, which you can walk to, you will find a good Bistrot de Pays restaurant, the Café de la Liberté, a pharmacy and a small supermarket. A little further in the same direction you can visit the medieval village of Rions. You can finish your walk in Cadillac, with its central square, ramparts, wine house and good places to eat. 12 min drive to Le Lac au Branches (tree climbing course on the shores of Lake Laromet) and the Monastery of Broussey. Rando Trotte, offers electric all-terrain scooter rentals on the panoramic hillsides of Bordeaux, in Villenave-de-Rions. At Sainte Croix du Mont you can visit a unique geological site, consisting of oyster fossils, dating back 22 million years.
