Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Jabella’s is a self-contained, semi-detached guest house located in the quiet leafy Western suburbs of Brisbane. The accommodation suits couples, solo travellers or those who are travelling for business, or a family catch up. Jabella’s has a private side entrance, onsite parking and shared outdoor space to enjoy. We are close to Moggill, Anstead, Pullenvale, Brookfield, and Kenmore with the CBD accessible by bus, or train from Indooroopilly The space Jabella’s is a fully self- contained private, 2-bedroom guest house attached to the main house under its own roof space. Each bedroom and living space are fully air conditioned allowing you to sleep peacefully on those warmer nights. The living area has a large TV with a Chrome cast. Sit back on the lounge and relax watching TV, read a book or enjoy the quiet and peaceful location among the gum trees. The cupboard has a variety of DVDs, games, and books to peruse. The kitchen is fully equipped with filtered water and coffee machine for your drinking pleasure. Portable dual hotplates, an air fryer/ oven and microwave for cooking/ reheating makes meals easy. If you enjoy a BBQ there is a Webber available. With two bedrooms, guests have their own space to sleep. Bedroom one comprises a Queen size bed with Tempur mattress and memory foam topper. Bedroom two has 2 king single beds. Extra blankets are available in the robes/draws to keep you warm and cosy. Hanging space and storage is available in both rooms for your stay. Bellbowrie is located within 30 mins of the city (33 mins from the airport- using the tunnels) and is a quiet, leafy community with abundant birdlife. Locally, we are close to venues including The Chef's Manor at Anstead (wedding/function venue), Anstead Bushland Reserve, Pullenvale Hall, Moggill District sports park and the Bellbowrie Swimming Pool and Gym. If Golf is your game we are roughly a 25 minute drive from St Lucia and Indooroopilly golf courses which are also popular event venues. Bellbowrie provides easy access to the Gold Coast and it's Theme Parks ( 1 hr- 1hr 30mins), the Sunshine Coast including Australia Zoo (1 hr - 1 hr 30 mins), Ipswich (23mins), Toowoomba - Carnival of Flowers in Spring and gateway to the country towns (1 hr 20 mins), The Scenic Rim Trail (1hr 13min) and Summer Land Camels- Australia's largest camel farm and dairy (48mins). Within 200 metres of Jabella’s there is: - a local park with equipment - quiet walks along the neighbourhood streets Within 1-2km are: - buses to the CBD (every 15 mins), Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, the City and Queensland University (UQ) - Olympic size swimming pool, 25m heated pool - churches - schools - local shopping centre with all amenities. Within 10 mins are: - Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where you can cuddle a koala, feed kangaroos & see a platypus. You can even have a photo taken with a python or a koala. - Indooroopilly Shopping Centre (one of Brisbane's largest shopping centres) and Cinema Complex. - movie cinemas Guest access Guests have a private side entrance to the guest house with night time sensor lighting, which is completely fenced off from the main garden and family dogs. Other things to note We have friendly dogs who reside inside the main house and outside in the garden. They will keenly alert us to your arrival, however, will then settle down. Whilst our dogs love pats and treats, we kindly ask that this only occurs when we are at home to supervise. Thank you for your understanding. The guest house has access to the rear garden of the property but will remain locked unless hosts are home due to family dogs. We have a busy interactive lifestyle with our 4 teenagers who enjoy University, school, sports and work/ social life. Jason is an avid golfer when time allows and is always up for conversations around sports, surfing, car racing and world events. Annabelle enjoys cooking, reading and travelling. We share a love of travel and have spent time in England, Scotland, Europe, America, Panama, New Zealand and different states of Australia. Three of our children speak conversational German, enjoy socialising and are keen to travel the world.
