Ideal for extended stays or quick weekend getaways. Fully furnished for your comfort. (Escape the hustle and bustle!) A charming country retreat near the historic coaching town of Hurstpierpoint, just a short walk away. The cottage, known as ‘Post Box’ and dating back to the 17th century, offers privacy and seclusion, with the option of self-check-in or you can enjoy a warm welcome from your host, Clive. The space A perfect hideaway! Convenient parking and easy access through the front door. Enjoy a restful night on the comfortable king-size bed. The kitchen and bath/shower room are well-equipped, and the spacious sitting room invites relaxation. Outside, you'll find a secure pet-friendly courtyard with seating, a BBQ, and a Chiminea. For stays exceeding one week, my daughter will provide a weekly cleaning service free of charge. Guest access You’ll have access to all areas, as the space is completely self-contained. Special touches include a welcome pack filled with goodies, a state-of-the-art 43-inch Q-Led Smart TV with soundbar, and subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Netflix, and other popular channels. We also provide a new Air Fryer, which we absolutely love! Other things to note Post Box is nestled in beautiful countryside, perfect for scenic walks, and is just a 15-minute stroll to the charming village of Hurstpierpoint, which boasts various shops and amenities. Explore the famous Devil's Dyke and the South Downs Way, or visit the picturesque 'Chocolate Box Villages' of Saddlescombe, Poynings, and Fulking, all with delightful country pubs worth checking out, just a 10-minute drive away. The location is conveniently close to the A23, with Hassocks rail station only 3 miles away, providing quick access to London in under an hour, Brighton in 15 minutes, and Burgess Hill in 10 minutes for flight simulator experiences. Hickstead Showground is just a 3-minute drive or a 15-minute walk away. The Duke of York Pub in Sayers Common and 'The Horse Pub' in Hurstpierpoint are both within a 15-minute walk and serve excellent food and drinks. For a special fine dining experience, I highly recommend "The Fig Tree Restaurant" in Hurstpierpoint, owned by my daughter and son-in-law—no bias here! Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this cozy cottage is perfectly located for your needs.
