Brand new 1 man and 1 woman bicycle, fire pit table, fishing poles, picnic table with umbrella by the water. Fun retro decor with an open concept kitchen/living room with record player/records and comfy couch. We are close to everything... KAYAKING FISHING SCENIC/AIRBOATING SCALLOPING SHOPPING The space ⭐️ You're going to love spending time at the Retro Retreat! We have enough kayaks for 6 people. 2 brand new stadium seat sit on top kayaks. 1 sit in, 1 sit on top & 1 tandem. You may launch either at the small ramp in the backyard if the water is high enough or at the boat slip on the vacant lot next door. (see picture of boat slip in the "backyard photos") ⭐️The Retro Retreat is ONE SIDE OF A DUPLEX but each side is its own individual private home. A fence separates the backyard giving you complete privacy of your deck. Vacant lot next door on the other side. KITCHEN/LIVING Our new eat-in kitchen includes a COFFEE STATION, RETRO refrigerator and plenty of new cookware to stir up a quick meal! A stackable washer/dryer is also located in the kitchen area. In the living room, have a dance party or relax listening to some classic records on our RECORD PLAYER. We have 55' ROKU SMART TV for watching movies and don't miss out on our oh so fun GUM BALL MACHINE! 🛁 BATHROOM The full tub/shower bathroom has vanity storage, shelves, towel hooks, safety bar and tub treads to assist you with stepping in and out of the tub. 🛏️ BEDROOMS The KING and QUEEN bedrooms each have comfy beds with extra pillows, linens, a wall-mounted smart TV, individual bed lamps with usb ports. The large closets each include hangers, storage shelf, dresser, hamper and luggage rack. 1 self-inflating air-mattress. 😎 OUTSIDE... KAYAKS ( 4singles, 1 tandem) Launch our kayaks from the boat slip next door. Easy sidewalk along seawall. PICNIC TABLE area right next to the water where you can play cards or enjoy lunch! DECK with nighttime party lights. FIRE PIT TABLE (perfect for making s'mores) that seats 6 2 SUNBATHING LOUNGERS GAS GRILL 2 POLES to fish right from the backyard BIKES (1 male, 1 female) We have a great neighborhood to ride or you can take them to one of the local trails. 2 BEACH CHAIRS available ATTENTION KAYAKERS The boat slip on the vacant lot next door is your designated spot to launch kayaks. You can walk along the seawall with the kayak. We recommend water shoes and life jackets are provided. A map is located under "additional photos" to assist with navigation. BOATERS... PLEASE MESSAGE HOST WITH LENGTH AND TYPE OF BOAT BEFORE BOOKING. We recommend flat bottom type boats and none longer than 18'. Guest access Guests will have access to all spaces inside home and outside including private back deck, backyard, new waterfront picnic table area and shared kayak launch. Our unique home is a duplex, but backyard spaces are separated by a fence. The shared kayak launch is directly in the middle of both backyards and will be accessible to parties staying on each side of the duplex. Other things to note SAFETY There is one step to get into the house and a step off the back deck. In the bathroom, guests will need to make a high step into the tub/shower and a big step down out of the shower. A grab bar (meant to assist and not bear full weight) and shower treads are provided to make the transition as safe as possible. The seawall and canal areas of the backyard are not recommended for children to be left unsupervised. These are potentially dangerous areas due to the height of the seawall and unforeseen wildlife. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE CHILDREN UNSUPERVISED NEAR THE SEAWALL. PLEASE DO NOT FEED ALLIGATOR OR ANY WILDLIFE AS IT MAY ENCOURAGE AGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR. CLEANING Our expert cleaners impose a detailed process of disinfecting and sanitizing all linens and rooms after each guests stay. Our mattresses are also fully protected. Please let us know prior to your booking if you have concerns regarding personal allergies. 😊 KAYAK DISCLAIMER. All guests who use the property's kayaks are solely responsible for the navigation, operation, and safety of their vessels. The property owners are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages incurred while using these vehicles. AMENITIES DISCLAIMER including but not limited use of kayaks, fire pit table, gas grill, fishing poles, bicycles, appliances etc. We aim to keep all our amenities in proper working order for your enjoyment. We expect guests to treat them with caution and notify host if something is broken or seems inoperable. We are not liable for any accidents or injuries while using any amenities. Use of onsite amenities is the sole responsibility of the guest and at your own risk. PEST CONTROL In addition, our home is professionally treated for pests on a quarterly basis and we can provide you with this updated certificate upon request. We cannot however guarantee you will not see a bug or insect inside the home during your stay as this is FLORIDA! 😊. We use aggressive pest control but with our vast wildlife critters can still find their way inside. Keep doors and windows closed when not in use. Our neighborhood is often sprayed for mosquitoes and noseeums, but bring mosquito spray in case you need it. CAMERAS Motion sensor recording devices are set up in 2 places on the property. One is by the front door/driveway and the other is on the back of the house facing the backyard and deck. These help ensure all house rules are kept and your safety is made a priority.
