THE ROOM: Located on the first floor of Brava House THE HOUSE: Brava House is one of the original Victorian homes in Austin, built in 1889 by Minus Culver in historic Old West Austin near Clarksville, a central neighborhood with a unique character that is also on the National Register Historic District. The space A cozy first floor room off the garden & deck is wheelchair accessible, including the roll-in shower and larger doorways. Quaint and charming, the room offers a queen bed and armchairs in front of a bay window. Sleeps 2. Named after the artist, this room is off our back deck and garden and features a beautiful bay window, filling the room with light. Centrally located near downtown Austin, 6th street, the Texas Capital building and the University of Texas, the Brava House is a perfect place to stay in Austin! The Bedroom A small sitting area with two easy chairs in front of the windows, and a low black-iron queen size bed. An elegant antique armoire and hardwood floors complete the cozy ambience. Another feature of this room is that it is completely wheelchair accessible. With a ramp that leads to its own private entrance from the parking lot, there is easy access to this room. Other features include cable TV, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Sleeps 2. The Bathroom The black and white tiled bathroom features a shower that can accommodate a wheelchair. Furnished with all the modern amenities – all the fixtures, including the hairdryer, are easily within reach. Other things to note We hope to see you soon at Brava House Bed and Breakfast Inn! Visit our Reservations Page or contact us for more information. Brava House is a non-smoking facility; smoking is permitted outside only. Check-in time is 4 pm, and check-out time is 11am. Early check in or late check out is available for additional $50 per room. A continental-plus breakfast is served weekdays from 8-9, and a full breakfast on the weekends from 9-10. All breakfasts are served in the back house. There is plenty of free off-street parking in our private parking lot behind Brava House. Brava House B&B welcomes families with children of all ages. We ask that parties with children under age 10 stay in one of the suites, where there are no downstairs neighbors. Please let us know at the time of reservation if you will have children with you, and the age(s). We also accept pets in some of our rooms. If you will have pets in your party, please advise us ahead of time. You must get prior approval for your pet, and we reserve the right to limit the type or breed of pets accepted. There is a $30 per night per pet charge. All room rates are based on single or double occupancy. All of our suites offer a queen size sleeper-sofa which will allow up to 4 guests in the room. We also have a rollaway bed available for a 3rd guest in other rooms. There will be an additional $50 per person charge per room per night over 2 guests. If sleeper sofa is used with 2 guests there is a one time $25 charge.
