The Wagon Shed is a carefully restored former wagon shed, defined by its dramatic vaulted ceilings, original beams and a bright, open-plan layout designed for both relaxing and socialising. The space has been thoughtfully curated throughout in line with the Accoutre Co approach — balancing clean, modern interiors with character features to create somewhere that feels both considered and comfortable, whether you're staying as a couple or as a group. The open-plan living area offers plenty of room to unwind together, while multiple seating areas — both inside and out — mean everyone has space to enjoy the house without feeling on top of each other. Outside, guests have exclusive use of a private courtyard directly off the living space, along with a larger enclosed garden beyond. With outdoor dining, relaxed seating areas and a fire pit, it’s a space designed to be used, not just looked at. Located just a short drive from Halifax town centre, the events at The Piece Hall, and the independent shops and cafés of Hebden Bridge, the house also sits within reach of Haworth — famous for the Brontë sisters and the setting that inspired Wuthering Heights (around 40 minutes by car). The property is also well placed for guests attending weddings at local venues such as The Venue Bowers Mill and The Fleece Countryside Inn, making it an ideal base for groups looking to stay together and enjoy the weekend. Whether you're visiting for a quiet break or a weekend with friends, The Wagon Shed is set up to be enjoyed properly — not just stayed in. Guest access The whole house Other things to note Guest Numbers & Pricing Rates are based on occupancy. The base rate covers two guests. All guests must be included on the reservation for the full duration of the stay, regardless of arrival time or which nights they are present. Additional guest charges apply for the full duration of the booking, not individual nights. Please ensure the correct number of guests is selected at the time of booking, as this forms part of your reservation agreement. Any changes must be made prior to arrival. For comfort, safety and insurance purposes, only guests included on the reservation may visit or stay at the property. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Security & Noise Monitoring To help keep the property secure and well looked after, external Ring doorbells are in place at the entrance, along with a Minut device inside which monitors noise levels and the general environment. There are no internal cameras. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Layout The house sits on the roadside, with the main entrance accessed via the private garden to the rear of the property. The courtyard off the living area is exclusively yours to enjoy, along with a larger garden space. Both areas are enclosed with gates and fencing.
