Description

Justin and I offer a single bed in a single room in a detached family home. Guests also have access to the shared main bathroom. This is cleaned daily. The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, kettle, tea and coffee which you are welcome to use. If we are available we are happy to chat, but if you prefer to read, work or just take time out for yourself to relax, the room is a quiet place. This is friendly family house welcoming professionals and visitors to our beautiful local area of Somerset. The space A single room in a family home. Free internet, nice walks, access to most areas of the house. Breakfast, tea & coffee included. The bathroom has both a bath & a shower cubicle. Guest access Main bathroom, kitchen, living room, patio, garden furniture and garden. During your stay I am happy to provide information on the local area. Recommend cafes, restaurants and things to do. I am usually around and if not, always reachable. Other things to note There is a well stocked village shop run by a delightful, helpful family should you need anything during your stay. There are a few walks around the village including a 4 mile Platinum Jubilee Heritage Trail which has information boards explaining the history of certain spots along the way. There is also a popular circular walk up the mill stream, expect it to take 45 minutes roughly. Sometimes there are cows so if like me you're scared of them, bear that in mind! I tend to turn back. The closest towns are Street and Glastonbury, both roughly 5 miles from Baltonsborough and easily accessed within around 10 minutes by car. Street is best known for Clarks Village, an outdoor outlet shopping centre. Glastonbury has many interesting unusual shops and events on all year round and has a constant stream of people from all over the world. The Chalice Well has tranquil gardens where its possible to relax and unwind. The ruins of Glastonbury Abbey are definitely worth a visit. The history is fascinating and it is set in stunning quiet spacious grounds where one can feel totally apart from the hustle and bustle of town. Wells is about 11 miles away and its cathedral and grounds can be enjoyed from the patio of Rugantinos over a nice meal or relaxing drink.
