The Old Yoga Studio

The Old Yoga Studio is a light, fun & quirky accommodation in the heart a great Peak District Village. French doors to the large decked area provides great indoor/outdoor living. The studio is a large, flexible space ideal for couples or friends who want to enjoy the National Park. With a ping pong table, home cinema, swing and gym rings - there's plenty of entertainment. It has secure bike storage and private off road parking. Please note, maximum of two guests. The space The Old Yoga Stdio is a fun and spacious and flexible place to stay. The clue is in the title.... the property was originally designed to be a yoga studio so has an exceptionally large living space. In spring 2024 we added a new kitchen, installed a staircase and created a large attic bedroom. There's a Jack and Jill bathroom between the kitchen and lounge - though there are both an additional WC and a route round via the outside. There's a comfy sofa bed in the main living space and a king size double in the bedroom. Two large sets of french doors open from the studio to the expansive decking area with dining table and chairs. And lots of space for yoga in the sun! The property has good and easy access with no stairs into the property and downstairs sleeping options. (There are small lips on the external doors and into the shower). All the shops, cafes, restaurants, heated pool, park, tennis courts are just 5 minute walk from the property as is the train station with regular trains to Sheffield and Manchester. Footpaths and trails lead from directly behind the studio and guests can access the countryside easily without cars : ) Guest access Guests have their access to the whole space - excluding a locked storeroom. Private parking for two vehicles comes with the property. Bikes can be stored securely in the lobby area. It has it's own entrance and driveway. Access to the decking is exclusive to guests but there is no access to the garden. Other things to note The gym rope, rings and swing are available for guests to use and enjoy but children must be supervised. We've spent over 15 years cycling, running and climbing in the area and always happy to share nice route/location choices with our guests.
