Settle into this private cabin and explore the Saranac Chain of Lakes (Middle and Lower), discover the quaint town of Saranac Lake, satisfy your Olympic fevor in Lake Placid or hike any of the surrounding High Peaks. The island is dotted with beautiful white birch trees and privacy-providing cedar hedges around the perimeter. This island is a great place to get away with your spouse for a weekend of relaxing in nature. This three bed, one bathroom island cabin is ready for you to enjoy. There is one full bed in the master bedroom and two bunk beds in the second bedroom. The third 'bedroom' is a unique set of screened-in bunk beds in the lean-to. Fall asleep listening to the sweet sounds of nature. You are a short 5 minute canoe or rowboat ride away from the island and have full access to free parking, accessible from Saranac Lake, NY. We provide a small boat with an electric motor to get back and forth if you need it. This private island was originally developed in the early 1920's by a local businessman, but maintained over the years by his family. Along the way it has been updated with ample amenities. But, best of all are the 360 degree panoramic views of the Adirondack Mountains and countless miles of waterways to explore on the Saranac River and Saranac Lakes. Please NO PETS. Guest access Guests will be provided a small row boat with an electric motor to get back and forth from the landing/parking area.
