The security guard will assist you in bringing your belongings up the stairs. There is no elevator. Until we get a generator for now, The electricity is is fully powered by solar panels. Just in case there is a power outage we have to recharge the solar panels so it can be used efficiently in the evening this may cause no electricity or power in the afternoon . This is subject to availability and is charged at $10 per hour, up to 2:00 PM latest. Unauthorised late checkout may incur a $50 penalty due to disruption caused to cleaning and incoming guests (with proof provided to Airbnb). ⸻ Electricity & Power Outages Power cuts may occur due to the instability of the electricity supply in Congo. To help maintain essential services, we use solar panels. During solar power: • Only a few plugs will work (charging phones, watching TV, using the internet). • The cooker and hot water will not function. • Only one air conditioner will operate on solar. • The fan will remain operational. • Some lights may stay off. Our pricing reflects these conditions. Note: A generator is not provided. A gas cooker may be available upon request. ⸻ Housekeeping • Bedsheets are changed once per week. • Additional changes can be arranged for a small fee. • Cleaning takes place every two days, excluding Sundays. ⸻ Maintenance Please report any maintenance issue immediately to the on-site staff or cleaner. We cannot address issues that are not reported. Technicians will be contacted as soon as possible depending on availability. ⸻ Refund Policy • No refunds for services already used. • Refunds apply only to unused days. • If you wish to cancel, please do so promptly. ⸻ Additional Information • Guests must provide their own cleaning and washing products. • We recommend bringing mosquito spray, as mosquitoes are common. • One roll of toilet tissue is provided on arrival; additional rolls must be purchased by the guest. Laundry • A shared washer and dryer are available on the ground floor. • Usage is $5 per load, and guests must use their own soap. • This fee is mandatory and must be paid directly to staff when used.
