Located just a short drive from the city of Ottawa, you can easily combine your tranquil retreat with urban exploration. Visit historic landmarks and immerse yourself in cultural events before returning to the cabin's serenity where you will unwind among nature's splendor. The space Inside the cabin you will find a nostalgic atmosphere but with all the comforts of a modern home. Four queen size beds and a king offer a peaceful nights sleep. Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy a barbeque on the large deck complete with panoramic views of the river. Adventure awaits with our selection of kayaks, stand-up paddleboard and canoe. Explore the river's gentle currents, discover hidden coves, and witness stunning wildlife up close. Whether you are a seasoned paddler or a beginner, these watercraft provide endless opportunities for fun and discovery. With a fire pit and wood at your respectful disposal, gather around its warm embrace as you roast marshmallows and share stories under the starry night sky. During rainy weather, enjoy the lower level pool table and an array of old fashioned DVD movies and classic board games. Guest access You will have access to the full house with the exception of one wardrobe, the linen closet and the mechanical room. There is no guest access to the garage or the cordoned off trailer. These areas may be visited for maintenance work but guests will not be disturbed. Other things to note Weekly bookings only in the summer (Friday to Friday). The Cozy Cabin welcomes all members of the family - furry ones included, however, you are asked to clean up after your pet and are encouraged to use the central vacuum. Pets are part of the family and, as such, are included in the guest limit of 10. (8 people plus 2 pets = 10 guests).
